No, they're unrelated. Both Blood-C and Blood+ are reinterpretations of Blood: The Last Vampire, which was the original movie that first introduced people to Saya and the Chiropterans. Blood-C is MUCH different than Blood+ though. They share a similar concept, seeing as they're both related to the original Blood movie, but in terms of difference most notably Blood-C is FAR gorier, and their stories are quite different. Their stories START in a similar manner, but Blood-C's takes a twist around episode 10 or so, and then concludes with a movie.

(It also has a lot of other disturbing themes that might turn a lot of people away, I.E. rape, pedophelia, necrophelia, dead babies, child murder, etc.) . But behind all of that lies an extremely well written story.
As for the anime adaptation, it's an old low-budget series from 1996 that only covered the Golden Age Arc (I.E. the prequel/flashback arc).
They're also in the process of adapting the manga into a series of movies as well, similar to what Neon Genesis Evangelion is doing with their "Rebuild Of Evangelion" movie series. Currently there's only 3 movies which cover the Golden Age Arc as well (Basically it's the same thing as the anime adaptation but with higher-quality animation). They skip out on a lot of dialogue and focus mostly on the action because they want to get through the prequel/flashback arc and get to animating post-eclipse content ASAP since what they're doing has basically already been done before. (They also use a lot of shoddy CGI in the movies to cut back on budget costs. A lot of people disliked it because admittedly it doesn't look anywhere near as good as when they animate everything by hand, but personally I didn't mind it too much. It's pretty bad in the first movie but It get noticeably better afterwards and doesn't look too bad in the 2nd or 3rd movie.)
Basically, if you want to get into Berserk, read the manga first and then watch the anime/movies, that way you won't get lost since they leave out chunks of dialogue here and there in the adaptations.

Funally enough just started it not to long before u posted this i'm on chapter 9 and so far so good. Also i read Gantz so i don't really have any problems with any thing raunchy or fucked up. Good to know about the anime and movies as well so thank you for all that. Also is it still ongoing cause the website i'm on says it is but i thought at some point i had heard it was done?

Volumes? what magical universe are you residing in? XD Berserk has a few chapters at most every year and unfortunately the Mangaka (author) got sick so he was unable to do any chapters since 2012. He got better recently and for a fun side project done a short series called Gigantomakhia. Pretty good even though it was short.

Nah I mean look at the volume release chart, he releases like one volume every year give or take, the latest one was volume 37 in March 2013, which was about a year and a half after Volume 36 after which he had fallen ill, and before that it was always a consistent 1 volume every year from 2005 and onwards. And before that he almost always released 2 volumes per year.
