take some time off? like 2 weeks off?

i was doing deadlifts for some time and noticed a strange pain in my lats and it was only in one side so i took 2 weeks off of deadlift and then went back to it and i was perfectly fine.

That is the most vague thing I have ever heard.
If you are weak, then lift.
If it isnt working then doctor.
If it doesn't hurt then wtf did you do to it? Because you either fucked it so bad adrenaline is stopping you from feeling it, or nothing is wrong with it.

what do you mean it doesn't work?....like you lift less weight now?

maybe it's not hurting because you need to try different exercises or more weight.

try doing planks or shrugs. bench press works well for shoulders too.
