I only tried because I was renderring something for TF2 (A game, if you don't know) and for some reason it needed quicktime to be renderred...

Mate, I'm not talking about music playing systems. I am a composer and a musician, so I have tons of actual notation software and other sound mixing and creation systems. Some of them barely work for PC's. I actually do NOT like the media systems on the mac. And yes. Open-sourcing is something Apple should work on. However, I do enjoy the extra external drive ports.

Yes, well, Mac is basically the business class working computer, so it makes sense if professional things like that are more aimed at macs.
