The picture shows an angel and death. The angle represents life, as they're clearly playing on his death bed. Death represents Death. He's hiding cards under his ass. He's cheating. It doesn't represent heaven or hell, Just life and death.

Well, first you find a group online. This is important.

Then you can go here ( www.myth-weavers.com ) This should give you character sheets for most games. A few are missing, and there are a few problems, but it works well.

Once that's done, go here ( app.roll20.net ) and you can use this as a table. Give you're Game master time to prepare the campaign and adjust to the controls and you should be set.

Still confused by everything around me I lingered. "Are you deaf or thick?" asked the horned man with audible frustration while raising his whip above his head for a strike.
While my exhausted mind was trying to comprehend everything around me another strike landed on the back of my neck. "Yonno what? I don't give one rats ass about what you are! You are going to the quarry!" he shouted as more and more strikes landed on my tattered body.

Hours became days, days became weeks and weeks became months.
As the Yellow Sea had only one type of weather I quickly lost track of the seasons.
The work in the quarry was unbearable, the heat was too. But the horned man, whom everyone called Lord, and his men were the worst. Some they whipped, some they killed for leisure. To some they did worse.
Slowly the deep, hateful voice and image of the Lord started to permanently reside in my mind, pushing out everything else.
I couldn'y have that! I could not have the image of this tyrant whipe away the memories of my lovely Nia! I had to act.
Over months the slaves and I prepared for our liberation. We built traps, made battleplans and crafted weapons all under the noses of our slavers.
On the darkest night we struck. The slavers, sure of their absolute dominance, never saw the assault coming and were drunk and unprepared.
With crudely fashioned weapons we hacked them, stabbed them and cut them showing them how fierce man can be.
The battle was brief as the slaves outnumbered their former masters 10 to 1.
We ravaged their settlement, killed all who opposed us and captured the Lord.
As the other slaves were plundering the settlement and deciding the Lord's fate, I took what I needed, packed for a journey and said farewell to my new friends.
"Hey friend, wait up!" I heard when I was about the leave the encampement.
"Weren't you the one looking for The Brotherhood?"
"The brotherhood?" I asked? "You mean that symbol I drew in the sand once?"
"Yes my friend, that one!"

"Where can I find them?" I asked, hoping that they knew the way to reach my beloved Nia. He pointed to the water.

"One of the ships the masters did trade with has a route to their city. They should be willing to give you a lift, if you work for it."

I heeded his words and found the traders who could take me to The Brotherhood. The bargin was simple. He would stop there on a trade soon, I simply had to work for him until then. It was difficult work, but the true pain was thinking about what could be happening to my dear Nia, so I gritted my teeth and worked. Time went by and we had yet to stop at any city that had even heard of The Brotherhood. When I confronted the captain, he simply told me "I'm the captain of this ship. I know the seas boy, and I know where I'm going. You'll get where your going eventually as well. Until then, enjoy yourself. Have a lady, lad. Their nice and cheap."

"I'll take no part in your 'women'. I have interest in only one, and she is one that you are keeping me from. You said you would take me to the men who had taken her if I worked on your boat. I've worked, now take me to them." I bellowed.

The captain looked at me with stern eyes. "You ought to know boy. Only the captain of a ship gives orders. If you're trying to give them, you must mean to be captain. We have a word for that on this ship." Sailors whom I had shared the ship with for the weeks I had been aboard moved onto their feet and drew their spears.

"What?" I said nervously backing to the door.

"Mutiny." The captain replied. Just like that the shipmen who I had shared a life with for what seemed like so long turned on me. They ran at me with spears, throwing them at me. I dove off the side of the boat to escape them. As I swam through the water I could hear the splash of spears passing my body. As I swam out to sea, I felt the same feeling I had in the desert. I reached out for something to hold and rest on, and I found the mast of a ship. I closed my eyes as we floated on.

So I began to run. I ran, I walked and I crawled for only God knows how long.
Through lush, green fields and dark, ancient forests. Through rain, scorching sun and the calming breeze I chased the woman who's lovely features were now permanent residents of my mind. I had to get her back, I had to see Nia again.

On the fortieth day of my journey I left the world I knew and ventured into the unknown. There it was, the place of tales and legends, The Great Yellow Sea who's existance is doubted by most. And yet I stood before yet!
Miles upon miles of golden sand and pitch black rocks, the sun burning like a thousand fires.
No living being was to be found in this beautiful yet haunting place. Except for one. Except for me.
I had no choice. I had to go on!
My scorched skin and burned out hair would be forgotton as soon as our eyes would meet, as she'd take the seven pointed flower from my dry and blistered hands.
The thought of the that brief moment when her hands would brush over mine will bring me further and further. It will bring one spec of life into this Valley of Death!
#81 - whiterabbitradio (06/23/2014) [-]
As the sun beat down from above, I found myself weakening. Yet I had to move forward. I trudged along the dunes of the Golden Sea until my legs buckled below me. I then crawled. As my strength waned, so did my hope of ever seeing the love of my life again. My hopes soon flourished when I heard the sound of water splashing upon the golden sands. I made my way towards the wondrous call knowing now that I could survive. As I reached the flow of water and took a drink, the taste of salt flooded my mouth. My body rejected it with a fluid of it's own, spewing from out my mouth with the last of my strength. My vision began to fade, and all I could think about was Nia, and the men who took her.

I awoke in chains with a sharp pain on my right shoulder. I was in a small clay hut, in pain, but alive. Surrounding me were old, frail men with dark skins and necklaces made of iron, wrapping around their throats. They all spoke words alien to me. As I tried to stand, they silenced themselves and pushed me back down. One of the men made his way through the crowd and spoke the first words I understood from these strange men.

"Greetings." He said, his voice dry and quiet. "What tribe might you be from to have been captured by the horned man, yet to have such pale skin?"

Before I could answer we heard someone shouting from outside. "It's time to work. Get out here, all of ya." As the men broke from around me and shuffled out the door, I couldn't help but wonder why they would obey such a cruel man. As I sat there, my mind moved from the men to the pain in my shoulder. I dabbed at it to find that there was blood seeping from it. The voice called again "I said get out here!" As finished, I felt a sharp pain on my chest. I looked up to see a large man holding a nine tailed whip and wore a large helmet with horns protruding form it. He spoke to me again. "Rise and shine, slave. It's time to get to work."
