Also Then more rooms you have Then more energy you need. Try to use nuclear plants instead of the Energy Generators, they give alot more energy, especially when Upgraded. Also build rooms together that increases the effectiveness of the room

Then just stay on a but longer and play till you have enough Energy for your shelter. I have 180 dvellers and you can trust me, the Problem is more to find a job for them rather than ressources.

I'm replacing all my early game generators with the reactors, but they cost a fuck ton and I can only usually add 1 maxed out and one regular reactor a day. I'm constantly under attack and that always drains my power. I generate a little more than I use, but attacks drain it fast.

you obviously have a bunch of useless rooms then i have no issues with power, check your stats it will tell you how much power you make and how much you use per minute, its will help you figure out how many rooms you need for example i priduce 199 and only use 106, as for dwellers being unhappy just keep them in the right rooms and rush every now and then, my happiness is usually above 89% at all times and that is with dwellers training, failed rush rooms, dwellers in the wasteland ect

I really don't. Most of my rooms are food, power, water. I only have a few trying rooms, the minimum amount of maxed out living quarters, and a few maxed out storage rooms(holding 400 storage).

you will always need more power rooms then every thing else for example i have like 6 power rooms but only 4 food and 4 water but im working on changing that to 4 nuka cola plants

if you click the book icon and click the stats tab it will tell you how much power you use per minute and how much you produce it will help you with knowing what you need, also make sure each power room is the 3 tier room, single power rooms are usless

if you screen shot it i might beable to give you some advice

You might need to train your dwellers strength so that you can get more resources faster.

All my dwellers go through mandatory endurance, strength, and luck training. All my dwellers have those maxed out, plus whatever stat that is accompanied to their job.

Then you have a shit load of rooms and might have to try rushing for energy. I would suggest deleting your training rooms if all your people are maxed and replacing them with power rooms.

I still need a few training rooms since I still have dwellers to train. I can maybe sacrifice 1 or two, but they are always in use.

Send Babies to explore

I was also slightly disappointed to see that they didn't add some features of the app to the game. I think it would have been cool for the attacks on settlements to have an organized goal, giving the player a more specific objective like "Defend the water supply" or something.

Well, they are also getting happyer after a sucessfull room boost. Sex is only last Option when you want to keep the table on the top and you forced someone to work in a room with a corpse in it or the Radio Station lets them regain their happyness on default to 75% simply by doing their job(Training Halls/living rooms keep the happyness of the dweller)

Rushing barely raises the happiness(I think it goes up by 3% and goes down if you fail) and you can only rush a room a few times before you fail. Dwellers with luck increase the amount of rushing you can do, but not by much. Rushing is very inefficient since it barely raises it and you can only rush 1 room at a time. The best way is getting them laid because it jumps to 100%, but it's still a shitty option. All options for happiness are horrible.

I found that sending dwellers to explore increases their individual happiness, but the drawback is you can't send the entire vault out and it could take hours to increase.
#33 - wattlegobbler (06/01/2016) [-]
I dunno what you mean. It always increases by 10 on me. Also a good mood is still a good mood no matter if 80% or 100%. Maybe your vault doesn't have enough ressources

#34 - wertologist (06/01/2016) [-]
My food and water are always full. My energy is a little low, but not in the red. I constantly get attacked(usually by deathclaws) so they constantly drain happiness. Rushing isn't effective enough since you can only rush a few times.
#38 - wattlegobbler (06/01/2016) [-]
Then put a fiew lv50s at the first Stage and give the workers in the Second Stage rare weapons. They won't come far, i promise (lv30s at the vault door are ok too) also heal them instantly

My entire top two rows are set up for death claws. Right next to the door is a reactor full of Lvl 40-50 high stat dwellers, then there is a size 2 lab with full strength dwellers. When the deathclaws reach the lab, they have to fight back to the elevator by going through the reactor room. If any manage to get by(the last one usually dies after leaving the lab), the next room the go into is a reactor room full of Max strength dwellers. I don't have too much trouble killing them, but they take so long to kill and even my best dwellers get severely wounded.

The top two floors are beefed up. Not a single weapon does less than 10 damage. Most have railway rifles or flamers. Deathclaws still do too much damage and they give nothing when killed.

I'm under constant attack by them so even if all dwellers survive, they get wounded and unhappy. I stim the hell out of the weaker ones, but it only prevents them from dying. Not keeping the happiness.

#43 - wattlegobbler (06/02/2016) [-]
Maybe you just send too much dwellers out to explore. It attracts deathclaws like hell

Also, generating enough power is a bit wonky. I have a ton of power rooms that are maxed out, but I'm always low. I'm out of room so I can't build more so I'm a little screwed. I'm slowly replacing the few cheap power rooms for the expensive version, but I don't think it will help too much.
#15 - wattlegobbler (05/31/2016) [-]
