well I remembered partially so it's all good

1st, you finish that beat for XBL? and was it anything extravagant or was it very basic?

2nd, *unable to process request*

huh, thought I remembered

I kind of don't like it... at all..

I may start from scratch tomorrow.

alright, just thought I'd check

and I remembered part 2

I'm thinking of doing a few song parodies, get my gun by D12 was one, Hit em Up by Tupac was another, and I have a few ideas for Hate it or Love it by 50 cent

I wanted to see if you'd like to get in on any of those

Is this just a lyrical thing or are you talking about recording something?
#792 to #791 - theonetruespitfire (07/17/2012) [-]
either or, I'm assuming you'd be more comfortable with the lyrical aspect than the recording part
#793 to #792 - ultrablue (07/17/2012) [-]
True. I mean i want to record some ****, but if I'm recording something I'd like it to be something original, y'know?

I've done some parodies with Frank before, so I'm down for that, but I dunno if I'd want to actually record something that's really someone else's. Unless it's like an instrumental beat with completely new versus.

Perfectly understandable

and what I was thinking was a beat that sounds familiar enough that people would recognize it as whatever song, and the same kind of rhyming pattern, but a totally different meaning/story behind the song
#795 to #794 - ultrablue (07/17/2012) [-]
I mean yeah, that'd work too.

Like I said, as long as the lyrics are completely different, I'm cool with whatever.

I'm starting to think it might be easier to start off on existing beats anyway, because making them has just become annoying atm to me.

For example, I'd love to do something to maybe this [url deleted]

That's what I was kinda leaning towards too lol

my mind works to complex to create anything but the electro I've made before

basic beats are a completely different ballgame

but dude I gotta go to sleep in like 20 minutes and I want to get some Killing Floor time in with zzRedzz yet tonight

So I gotta bounce for a bit

Yeah I gotta hit the hay as well.
