Name 1 thing EU did that positively benefited UK that wasn't contradicted by another EU law/regulation.

Through EU regulations, co2 emmisions went down 20% from 1990 levels which was the 2020 goal in the kyoto protocol (or whatever it's officially called in English) while the average GDP have rose steadily in the same period (except in 2009 when the economic crisis hit and it's been rising slower since then.

Other things include
keeping the peace in a region of the world that have seen more war than any other.
Opportunity to travel, trade and other exchanges over several countries. Don't you dare say this is a bad thing because "Muh immigration crisis", yes that's a downside, but the positive sides really outweigh it.
Foreign aid is another great thing if I can say so myself. Over half of development aid in the world comes from the EU or it's countries. EU commission itself is the 2nd biggest single donor, after USA.
EU legislation also include improving water quality all across europe, meaning at least in Norway you can drink water straight from the tap or river everywhere, I assume it's like this in the rest of Europe as well I haven't traveled much in Europe sadly. My parents always took me to other continents when we traveled and now I'm too poor to travel. ec.europa.eu/environment/water/water-drink/legislation_en.html
For the UK, EU does provide subsidies for farmers farmsubsidy.openspending.org/GB/

Just something I remembered from the top of my head. You can probably find a lot more if you google it. I just added some sources here and there in case you wanted to have a look for yourself

I'm not saying the EU is perfect, but it has served it's purpose. You shouldn't believe all the negative things you see on the internet, and especially not here, as it's usually exaggerated to generate more clicks.

I think I will try deadly combat with something like realistic combat, because I can't change how combat is done but maybe it will work better if it's more about timing the attacks and being punished harshly if I don't.

I believe it's said that no matter what playstyle you want to use, you will always end up becoming a stealth archer because of how fucking easymode it makes the game.
Unless you have rebalance mods.

Also magic is the favorited way to bullshit yourself through the game.

Sure the start is a bit tuffy. But once it´s gets going you are a one man rape train who can bombard just the everliving fuck out of practicly anything, and this is without magic mods.

Once the magic mods get added in you are a physicle god!
#69 - anon (06/06/2016) [-]
If you don't get any mods, then magic gets pretty shit. Spells don't increase in damage as your skills increase, only with perks, so you get the unfortunate situation that as you level up your spells don't do more damage (unless you take the perk) while all the enemies still get more and more health.

i got to level 80 and could blew almost anything apart with one hit unless it was a older draug lord, in which 2 spells did often bomb anyway the entire crpyt apart.

Dragons where at this point the only real risk as irony.

See I tried that but neither of them had the impact I was looking for, I like the feeling of heavy armor and glorious melee, archery just didn't do it for me and neither did magic, which really bummed me out.

Hm, thats a problem for sure then, but surely there must be some good meele/armour overhauls out there...
Also try adding waifus and or machomen randy savages to your game, always helps any lack of immersion
