You are absolutely welcome. Good luck with your journey into the realm of the deepest corners of your mind, haha.

Last word of advice, while it's obvious you shouldn't listen too much to the anti-drug campaigns claiming that all drugs are by definition absolutely bad and only brings bad with them, promise me, in the same way, not to lisiten too much to drug users claiming that drugs are innately good, and that you shouldn't worry. Both are extremes, and none are right. Drugs are lovely, but they have a big likelihood of bringing bad things with them.

I agree with you. I'm a natures advocate, but certain stuff just shouldn't be touched and is far too damaging. Tobacco is pretty addictive actually, but I wish you luck with all that. Take care of yourself bro.

I am well aware that tobacco is very addictive, but I know what abstinences from tobacco feels like. This was different, because it wasn't a craving or a physical pain, it was just a feeling of "I could smoke tonight, I could call my dealer right now, it would be so good". It wasn't like "I really NEED to smoke right now". It's hard to explain, if it doesn't make sense like that.

Thank you very much, and to you too. Don't be fooled, and always make sure you have people around you who knows about your drug use. If they tell you they can feel you getting hooked, always listen to them. I wouldn't have realised I was addicted if it wasn't because my then-girlfriend told me about it a while ago. That I fell back in a few times afterwards is a different story, but I wouldn't have stopped this time if it hadn't been for her.

I believe that the only thing inherently wrong with drugs is how addictive they can be, and the horrible things addicts do to get a fix. Other that, just don't use drugs that make you violent or are known to make you cause the death of others.
User avatar #119 - infinitereaper (02/23/2014) [-]
Shrooms and LSD are highly non addictive though. So it depends on the substance sometimes.
User avatar #105 - infinitereaper (02/23/2014) [-]
It's possible your weed was laced with something as well. Thank you for sharing though, the more I learn the more I can grow my fields of knowledge on various subjects. Yes. Moderation is key. Respect is key. If you treat drugs this way, you will likely improve quality of life without harming yourself.
#109 - tyraxio (02/23/2014) [-]
I find that very unlikely, as I had my use/abuse for around a year and smoked both skunk and hash, from different people and usually different sorts. Technically, it could've been the tobacco that I mixed it with, but I know with myself it was the feeling I pursued, it wasn't a physical dependency. That goes very well with the fact that my highs started interfering with my personal relationships, because I kind of chose the feeling before the more natural high of being around other people. Although, I must admit, it boosted my relationship with other tokers by a whole damn lot. So again, moderation is key.

Also, stay away from heroine and cocaine at all times. I'd say, as far as illegal drugs go, psilocybin (shrooms), khat, LSD, cannabis and maybe ecstasy are the only acceptable drugs to do. Everything else will fuck your life up.

I know that feeling. One my first day of college level english, my teacher made us write a letter to her. I thought "oh ok, she just wants to get to know us more". No, turns out, she was studying our way of writing and supposedly our way of talking. She almost failed me when she saw my essays were written in formal english. I was like "you seriously expect me to turn in an essay with the way i talk and write on a normal basis? that's just stupid. what about when you go in for an interview? you never wear casual clothes, you always get dressed to impress"

the tattoo is on my ribcage under my clothes. and I got it because my step mother is a religious nutjob who forces her opinion on everyone and shunned me from that section of the family because of my hethen ways. theres no euphoric feeling...most people don't know I have it. I don't get tattoos to show people I get them becasue they mean something to me.
#165 - tyraxio (02/22/2014) [-]
Actually, you stated that you got the tattoo because of your abuse step mother, so yes, you do get them for other people.

My step mother is an absolute nutjob as well, she lives following a low carb high fat diet and tries to push that ideal towards everyone else, even though it's so scientifically incorrect, though still, I'm not gonna get a tattoo saying "Fuck LCHF!". It's just not worth it. But on the other hand, now you will have a piece of your body to always remember a person you hate - space you could've used for a tattoo in honour of someone you love, something pretty, or something deep.

Look mate, if it can fit a horse's penis (fact, it can), it is not uncomfortable or extra tight on a penis large relative to the human penis. In order for it to even be a slight problem you need to be really well hung.

The creator of the show, Genndy Tartakovsky, was originally from Russia, but his family left the country, and eventually came to the United States.

Much like Rolf from Danni Antonucci's Ed, Edd, n Eddy, the characters' accent is there to represent some of the cultural distance the creators felt when immigrating and adjusting to the american lifestyle, reflected in the actions and mannerisms of the characters.

I'd argue that you're not necessarily in a "rush" to find Dad, since you pretty much immediately find out he's more than capable of taking care of himself. You only really discover he could be in real trouble when you enter that creepy ass vault in which he's a virtual reality prisoner. Also, unless your Speech is decent or you reload saves until you pass all speech checks, you have to do several sidequests for people before they're willing to tell you where Dad went. You could also handwave doing any sidequests as trying to work on better equipping yourself so you can survive the post-apocalyptic hell in which you now find yourself.

I dunno, its one of those things to me, that if you don't like it you find new things about it that annoy you more, but if you love it you find new things to like about it. I like the voice cast as well with Matthew Perry playing a character called Benny. Ron Pearlman and Danny Trejo as well. The classic line, War, war never changes.

Thing is, FO3 is in Washington, and FNV is Nevada which is quite far apart. FO4 is set closer to Washington, hence they're carrying on the whole 3-Dog character. If save files would carry over he would never make it into FO4 as I shot the f*cker every time and stole his bandana. That luck & charisma's mine b*tch.

As for FNV, there is a lot of criticism of it around in general. But I loved it so much I could forgive it just for about anything. I loved the whole Legion-NCR opposing politics, and stories of the Burned Man kept me on the edge of my seat. As part of my tattoo sleeves I have a Centurion and an NCR Veteran Ranger in a mess of other random crap. Now that I'm older I don't game as often, and get bored and move on from titles very quickly. But FNV I played for over a year, after completing it on Xbox about 5 times trying different builds and taking everyone out with a silenced pistol, my friend showed me what PC mods are capable of. Next day bought PC version, and it was like playing a new game as I modded the sh*t out of it.

The Fallout: New Vegas mechanics and new weapons was awesome, but the setting and storyline was very crap. Sorry to break it to you. There are parts of it that was very good, and the NCR/Legion politics made it very deep, and the Legion added a sense of epicness to the story, indeed.
