Hello!

I saw your post, and noticed you possibly had trouble finding a word for an adjective of ambiguity. Perhaps you can try "any" "somewhat" "anywhere near" or "a bit". Good day!

I used "anywhat" in a correct sense.

>greentexting

Even so, people have the right to criticize. This site costs a lot of money to run too, if everyone that was disheartened with the direction of the website "just left", the site would collapse. Airing grievances isn't a bad thing, but telling people to leave when they disagree with what's happening is just silly.
User avatar #89 - admiralen (11/11/2013) [-]
Them whining hurts the site more than them staying helps it, it just pisses people of and buzzkills causing people to get bored with the site.

Of course, but it doesn't qualify as content.

Occasionally, someone comes with a good idea, but usually it's just whining over a minor change, and I'm here for the content and the community.

It's true. Read up on it, they really could have done a ton of good for Germany, and they did a fair amount of good, but they gave in to power and wanted more.

They don't wave the Prussian flag, but whatever.

It just so happens that what categorises the old South for most people is that they fought for slavery, so that is what the flag is connected with. I dunno, wave around your "Don't tread on me" flag or summin.

User avatar #50 - commontroll (11/10/2013) [-]
They actually didn't. A few of them did own slaves, but that wasn't why they fought, certainly not the one I know most about, since his slaves were more of servants because he wasn't in the agricultural industry. And I never said that I do fly it. I said I hope that one day I can fly it without it reminding others of a dark time in their past, but honestly, the Nazi party did a lot of good for Germany, if they had better morals in the higher ranks, then I think it would have been a very bright time for them. Instead they turned to hatred and genocide and shot themselves in the foot.

Regardless, the fact that they got Germany out of such a horrible depression and gave them pride is incredible, and that's something that is sadly left out of most history books. I just like reminding everybody that even the "bad guys" of every war are still human.
#51 - tyraxio (11/10/2013) [-]
Oh man, I never said the Nazi party didn't do good things, they just also happened to, i dunno, kill 6 million innocent and civillian jews.

I think I get what you're saying:
For example, when I set out to paint a new piece, I will sit and stare at the blank canvas for up to several hours before I so much as pull out a pencil. Why? Because when I actually go to work, I need to have the image perfect in my head because when I start to paint, I kind of go into a "zone" where everything is color, texture, spacing, and feel. I sort of space out, so I have to have the picture solid in my head for reference before I start working.

Pic relevant; my latest piece. "Out of the Ashes"

Lol can't smoke (would fucking love to, though)- I live on the military base my husband is stationed on. But here's another piece: "Fire and Ice"

(I know it's cliche, but it seemed to fit really well.)

Also, I thought FJ didn't like creative posts anymore?

I'm disappointed you have not been aknowledged on this reply as much as you should have. This is a more than logical explanation towards are current state as a species, as we are not one of the more "normal" animals. While others biologically evolve further, we have the capacity to create technology that allows us to extend our abilties beyond that of anything biologically possible, and that tech will continue to improve and evolve by our hand. The only thing biologically disversifying about us is our ever changing landscape of knowledge. Our expanded social ability through use of technology also takes part in this as it is now easier than ever to access all the knowledge we need with just a few clicks of a mouse. it is communication across the human species that achieves these great things... minds working together. Sorry, I got carried away... point is, technology is our future and tbh at the rate its evolving the future doesn't look as bleak to me as it does to most.
User avatar #150 - malific (10/23/2013) [-]
Hadn't replied since I hadn't been back to the website since making my comment.

In answer to technology, and tyraxio's question of what i define as peak, I WAS referring to it in a purely biological sense.

As to the Jackson's yes intelligence is VERY largely effected by our environment. But it is also partially by our genetics. My point being that biologically, we are no longer basing our breeding choices on things like strength and intelligence but on social aspects like wealth and beauty.

I'm well aware we can increase our evolution artificially through technology, but again I don't really consider it evolution, since that is a reaction to one's environment, instead we will be modifying ourselves.

One point I like to think about on that, is fully integrating ourselves with nano technology. Imagine Nanobots in your system that continuously repair cells will simultaneously foraging in the environment around you for needed base materials such as proteins, iron, and other things on an atomic level.

The next day you know you have a rear seat in a class where the professor is particularly soft spoken, so you use your cell phone to instruct your nanites that you need a 150% increase in your hearing capability. Then you go to bed and when you wake up the next morning they've modified your ears, ear drum, and canal to increase your hearing, and your overall ability to pick out specific sounds.
