Oh hey, I live near pretty much all of them. Maybe my area is Taff Welsh then.

I don't have that accent though, even I notice it (and I've lived here my entire life) so don't worry, one less person in the world with that accent.

Heart Gold and Soul Silver only add gen 3 I think, which is as far as I go gen wise. Couldn't stand the ones past it, the new Sun and Moon Pokemon don't look too bad though to be honest.

I haven't played them. Stopped playing after Gen IV.... Didn't like getting a whole new consoles (Can you call it that?) just to play one of the more up to date Pokemon.

shame too. I was really into competitive Pokemon.

Can only keep it on so long, gotta change the batteries which would mean it shutting off. Guess I'll just keep it for the memories.

I remember I had a battery pack which means I could run it off the mains WHILST charging it up. I somehow broke it eventually though (my fault completely of course).

Not sure if they sell it anymore but if you play the Gameboy a lot then it might just be worth getting this. It saves you a heck of a lot on batteries (With the benefit I have already said). 10/10 worth purchase.

i'm pretty sure the internal clock was why, because it would keep running when the game was turned off

That's unfortunate, pretty certain SIlver was the first game I ever played and I still have the cartridge, don't know what to do with it now though.

if I remember correctly Blue / Red / Yellow had a battery life of 25 years or something years and gen 2 had about 10 years or less. Kinda makes the game unplayable unless you literally keep it on 24/7. Or don't mind starting from the start every time you turn it off :s. May as well throw it away now.
