Every guitar i have built has had a double action truss rod. I make the necks with a slight in bow so that i can dial in the necks out bow to the closest one hundreth of a millimeter. i check ever fret and make sure my scale is with in 1/4 mill. i check all 6 strings at the top of the fret board and the botton to ensure perfect hight, by working the nut bridge and tail peace. i check the placement of were i put my pick ups. to ensure great twanky highs and stronge punching lows. i use 15k orange drop resisters. liner 500k pots. i use insulated wire and protect the insides with a copper tape cage to weed out rf signels. i use high end tunners and make sure the slant on my nut is just right. I only use very high persion machine wound pickups, to ensure perfect scaling with the liner volume, and tone pots. All that and how you pick and what pick you use along with your amp is what effects tone. Your pickups are not microphones they do no hear the sound vibrations of your wood they get the magnitic waves of your metal strings. That is were all your tone comes from the wood body shape, and type of wood has such alittle effect on your final tone you can just write it off. and the effect it does have is just in alittle more trouble or alittle more bass, may 1/10 a turn of your tone knob worth. lots of factors in whats makes a great sound in a elecric guitar. wood is not a relavent one. Its main role is in strenght and stability. and in both those case using very hard woods and book matching grains so the expantion forces of the woods pull against each other is always better than one soild part.

I may have some typos because at my friends house on my phone and on shitter.

Not just the pickups but all the hardware and electronics and yes it would sound the same.

so resonance means nothing then does it not? the fact you dont have a truss rod doesnt matter?
i have a low end RG with a bareknuckle juggernaut in the bridge, i also have a high end rg fitted with a set of bareknuckle blackhawks.
the cheaper rg's electronics have been replaced and all the intonation has been studio set up. it still doesnt sound as good because it is made from cheaper woods and it isnt as well built.
my intial comment was intended sarcastically because i know that at least a quarter of the tone comes from the body itself. it all depends on what you are going to be playing, with that body you just arent going to have the clarity of a 3 piece neck thru.
there's a reason low end guitars are made with basswood and high ends are made from hardwoods like mahogany and alder etc.
