Some people have real physical inhibitors that cause them to gain weight. I've just never really had the ability to feel pity for someone that is capable of exercising, but chooses to become/stay fat because of mental defeatism.
Like, I have a brother that's in the 200s, and he's 5'9, but he has a jacked up hip. I can see how he feels less than confident about his situation, but it's not like he can jog/power walk or anything.
The thing is that he'd been fat his whole life so it was the kind of thing that worked up to this.
Then he can't exactly work out the fat very easily because he has issues walking due to some disease that has to do with his ankles or something.
