are you sure? because I have to go from gate A to gate F
so all the gates are connected? and I just have to show my boarding pass and they'll let me wait in the gate F waiting area?

I'm not even sure how exactly this whole flying thing works
check in, get your tickets, go give them your bags, go through the security gate, check in at the gate, wait until they call you, then get on the plane?

No. But he shouldn't show people special treatment just because they happened to be black and died.

He himself is racist, and if you're going to make a big deal on one race, you either need to make a big deal for all races, or stop. Racism like this should not be tolerated.
User avatar #41 - tls (07/22/2015) [-]
The issue with the other cases is that they were police related and caused massive unrest.
This is, unfortunately, just another random killing in our nation. It does not warrant the President's attention.
User avatar #64 - commontroll (07/22/2015) [-]
But it's a death that should have been prevented by the police, instead SFPD says no to deporting illegal immigrants even when they have felony records.
User avatar #77 - tls (07/22/2015) [-]
But I do agree, they should deport illegals with records. Especially violent records.
User avatar #76 - tls (07/22/2015) [-]
The cops can't be there to stop the thug from pulling the trigger. Only chase him after the bullets have flown.

People don't get that cops literally cannot prevent any violent crime unless they HAPPEN to be standing there as it happens. And tell me, how many thugs would commit a crime in direct view of an officer whom they know will most likely shoot first and ask questions later?
The Police cannot be there before it happens. The only way that will happen is if they can monitor the thoughts of every human being in the area. And by then, we're 10 steps past an Orwellian future. Citizens must arm and protect themselves if they want true crime prevention. Because then, when you see a thug with obvious malicious intent there is a chance you can prevent the crime. Many of them don't want to die, which is why the target the defenseless. They sing a different tune when staring down the barrel of a gun. themselves. But as the late, great, Tupac Shakur said, you best bomb first in that case.
User avatar #89 - commontroll (07/22/2015) [-]
That's not what I'm saying, I'm saying it would have been prevented if locals didn't defy federal law and would turn illegal immigrants over to be deported. He had committed 7 felonies and was only deported 5 times, that's fucked up.
User avatar #123 - tls (07/22/2015) [-]
This guy was allowed back into the nation five fucking times with multiple felonies on his record? Fuck me that isn't just a fucked system, that's a system that practically panders to criminals.
You have to be careful with that sentiment though, because it obviously isn't all illegal immigrants that are felons. Many of those who don't turn them over are most likely family or friends. Conversely, if you mean those completely un-involved with the illegals themselves but know or suspect they are illegal, I feel you on that one. But that itself is a difficult call to make. If you call it in and, oops, they have green cards. Look who's the fucking idiot now. Conversely, if they are not criminals way to fuck up someone's life who was trying to build/rebuild one up. I am of the opinion that the United States was founded by immigrants, made great by immigrants, and should welcome immigrants that want to work. Illegal or legal, fuck the first settlers were effectively illegal. The influx of immigrants has changed America for the better throughout History, once we got through the initial "Growing pains", I'll call it, associated with a large influx of new people. It's not like there are not enough job opportunities out there for everyone. There is an innumerable amount of things that this nation needs blue collar workers for. You know, since our infrastructure is being patched along and failing beneath us? The problem isn't the people, it's the leaders who do not do what they need to do to accommodate the changing times. We can try all we want to shut down illegal immigration, but let me tell you, when people are that desperate and have the willpower to make the journey, they will find a way. Even if we enacted a military shutdown of the borders, would you expect our troops to fire upon women and children when they saw them? Would you expect there to be not one sympathetic ear or a decent human being among those stationed on the wall? It is simply not realistic. I liken it to Prohibition, or more recently the War on Drugs. The sooner we come to terms with that, and start changing policies to deal with the increasing populations, the better.

Perhaps you are the only one who sees special treatment, because you are, frankly, a racist.

See the president or any politician will speak about events that cause the most turmoil.
