That's a terrible fucking idea.
You do that and you just get a further and further split, a cultural and intellectual divide with no benefit to anybody. You don't want honest and open discussion? Why the fuck not? What, are you scared of losing an intellectual argument? Are you worried you might be convinced by reasoning? Are you worried that your own side can't win with reason? What good reason could you have for not wanting intelligent argument? And NO, the 'argument' of "but they don't/won't debate properly" because the entire point is to get them to do exactly that. .

You spread this, you encourage proper debate, you improve things.
You make the people who want to lower debate into insults and group mentality fail at this, you bring it back to what it should be, a means of spreading viewpoints and persuading people. Enter a debate willing to be convinced but determined to convince. If you're not doing it this way, your debates can be improved dramatically. I know that not everyone will be able to do this, but they should aim at being closer to this ideal.and not reject and dig out people who do get convinced in debates.

no, they have connotations linked to other countries.
Especially since you see towelheads, supplied by russia, using the Ak47 and RPG7 and other russian equipment, it's sort of ironic that "patriotism" can be represented by a system that uses terrorism.
