Then why are they cakeing it on like an antsy 11 year old cakes on make-up? When you have thick layers of cammo, it becomes shiny. you are supposed to use as little as possible, so you get the dullest and least eyecatching color possible. Also it should be put on in broad diagonal lines so as to make your face look as little like a face as possible.

You apply a base layer though. Dark base of black/brown and then break it up with non-patterned green/black/brown

Hm I don't know, maybe cause it's a comedy strip where the camo is simply used for a racial joke?

No, a large portion of drawing is muscle memory, and good artists draw from their shoulder and forearm, not their fingers anyway. so this is likely a better solution as it takes years to develop that muscle memory,

Why not just tell them streets are dangerous without lying to them? that was the most convoluted thing ever and completely unnecessary.

Because children don't know what danger is, they have a different view of the world than adults have. Children don't do what you tell them, they do what you do. If you tell them crossing the street is dangerous, but they see a bunch of adults who cross the streets on red lights or while there is heavy trafic the will think that you are just overprotective and do it anyway.

Even if I did YES , it would be kind of be impossible due to geographical reasons and my guilty conscience.

Looking at the spec between that i7 and my i5 they seem fairly equal, but if you're no longer making use of it I suggest you try and flog it. You could get some good money for that!

How many kids are lied to about Jesus and never grow up realizing he's as fake as the fairies?
#46 - melwach (06/08/2016) [-]
It didn't come as a shock but as a slow, gruesome realization.
The only Jesus that was clearing me and my homely surroundings from the sin of neglect was my mexican household help.

I don't believe you should lie to your kids, I get that in this scenario the lie you gave is not a huge deal, but I don't want my kid to ever think I'd lie to it.

Well that's the point where it depends on the context. For example; you tell your child that they have to go to bed by 8pm because otherwise some ugly monster will scratch their eyes out. That's shitty parenting. At some point the child finds out you're lying and will hate you for scaring them because you just want to have some free time in the evening.
The other way; you walk across a street and some dude with only 1 arm crosses you, your child asks you why he has only one arm. You tell him/her that he lost his arm because he didn't hold the hand of his parent while walking the street. Yes, it's still a scaring experience for the kid, but they learn the dangers of walking a street. Streets are freaking dangerous. You get hit once by a car and can be paralyzed for life. And if your child finds out someday about the truth they might get mad. But in the end the lie you created was to protect your child from serious danger and if you didn't screw up the rest of your parenting they will appreciate it at some point.

When you tell your kids they can be anything they work towards. You are lying to your kids. You will on several occasions lie to your kid. To think you won't, just means you are ignorant of life. which may explain your name.
