You should find how many calories you need, calculate around 180 or 200 protein and 70 to 80 grams of fat and fill in the gap with carbs.

Also, I eat anywhere from 1-3 servings a day depending on what else I eat.

Also, how much do you weight? And are you really counting your macros or guessing? Most people don't eat more than a gram or 1.5 grams of protein per point of bodyweight. Unless you're on performance enhancing drugs and prepping for a bodybuilding show you don't need all of that.

Your body adapts to stresses over time meaning you won't feel the same burning over time. Soreness is also not a sign of a good workout, being able to add more weight or do more reps the next workout is.

You need to reevaluate your routine. The body adapts to your workload. You should try new workouts every 6-8 weeka

DO YOU EVEN STTP?
#34554 - baglesbites (07/15/2015) [-]
I disagree with this. If you're not on a program a minimum of 6 weeks, tracking progress becomes very difficult. If you're making progress at a steady rate you should stick to a program and only change out one or two small variables at a time, generally if you are developing an imbalance in strength or size.
#34558 - mataleao (07/15/2015) [-]
Reevaluation is one of the keys to a good, balanced program. I'm not saying the whole regamine should change, just parts of it. The 6-8 week trial is negotiable but it should be done. I've been studying to be a personal trainer ( then hopefully a pt) and this what what strength and conditioning coaches do
User avatar #34586 - Draigor (07/16/2015) [-]
That's just a way to keep your clients interested, otherwise they might get bored of the same old routine and stop coming.
#34626 - mataleao (07/17/2015) [-]
The adjustments made during reevaluation are key to overcoming plateaus and gaining strength as a whole.
User avatar #34627 - Draigor (07/17/2015) [-]
You can deload to bust through plateaus. It's all a scam bruhhhh

When you say pain do you mean a burn during an exercise and feeling sore the next day or a sharpstabbing pain and dull throb? There's a huge difference between the two.

Nice man! Coffee should be enough for you as a beginner. Be sure to continue to get enough sleep, because many people will rationalize going to bed later/not getting enough sleep, since they will have a stimulant to wake them up. They forget that sleep is the #1 time for recovery, and your workouts will suffer greatly fr om frequent lack of sleep, no matter how much caffiene you drink.
#34518 - baglesbites (07/14/2015) [-]
Don't even consider taking any supplements for the first 6 or 8 months MINIMUM of serious lifting. Your gains will come extreamly fast for the first year or so and you won't need extra aid assuming you're lifting hard and eating right. Also, the only supplement that consistently shows it can help in muscle building and strength is creatine, and its minimal. You can also consider a protein supplement if you feel you don't get enough from your diet.
#34516 - mataleao (07/14/2015) [-]
Preworkout is overrated, in my opinion. If you a are wanting a supplement to boost results, I recommend either a bcaa or creatine. Bcaa's are amino acids that aid in muscle repair, plus they taste delicious. Creatine isn't my thing but it is one of the most heavily researched supplements out there and is safe for you. While you take creatine, you want to drink a lot of water and you might want to cycle it.
#34515 - KungFuZerO (07/14/2015) [-]
You never need to take preworkout. Its a hyper expensive version of black coffee.

Latsbrah/The Golden One is about the biggest you could possibly get naturally with ideal genetics and everything. Although anyone -regardless of genetics- can still get joocy as fuck natty.

Holy hell man. You're at my goal weight.

I'm 6'3 and about 200-205 right now. I'd like to be about that size.

1. Eat a ton of healthy food
2. Don't afraid to get a bit fat
3. Don't be a little bitch when it comes to force feeding
User avatar #34016 - marinepenguin (07/04/2015) [-]
I managed to gain 60 pounds in less then two years and not get above 15% body fat, so I've been lucky so far. Once I get back from basic I plan on going on another big bulk.
User avatar #33960 - marinepenguin (07/04/2015) [-]
If you are over 6 foot. You can easily be over 200 and lean.

Getting big and strong natty is not extremely hard or complicated. It just takes a long time and dedication.

Steroids will allow you to ultimately get larger, faster, but being big and strong is not the be-all end-all of getting girls and being cool.

Plus steroids are very expensive, and if you wanted to seriously get into them, their cost and the possible effects if taken wrong isn't worth the extra gains you'd get out of them. Train natural for at least 3-5 years before even considering steroids.
