The same is true for basically every libcuck country.

In France, self-defense is prohibited. In the case of a mugging, burglary, or attempted rape / murder, you'd better accept the fact that it is happening to you and pray for it to end quickly, because you may face worse charges if you happen to injure your aggressor.

Pretty sure that just means the court is encouraging you to rape and mug people who assault you instead of hitting them.

look how it all transpired though, that sounds like an origin story in a sense but it took 3 movies to do that? I dont really like it as much since i dont feel it, just my opinion though. I always felt like superman in his general self (not alternate storyline supe) should be like a golden boy of the 50's, hell even a movie in which the world is as it is today but superman comes out of the farm and is a beacon of the good in the world would be kinda cool. I just dont think superman should be edgy unless its injustice. Imagine though a movie in which the edgy dark clashed with the beacon of light, could have made for a better BvS perhaps.

because in injustice superman is specifically written to be a "broken man" of sorts (after losing everything he loves) whereas anywhere else he is supposed to be a beacon of light and model of morality (or some shit, i dont read supes comics).

But he isn't supposed to be that in the films either. He's supposed to become one, but with struggle. He too is a broken man, looking for a purpose that would make people happy (which I think the ending of BvS was supposed to be about, people finally accepting him).
IDK, I guess I just like the film Supes more than most. Could be because he's more like Aquaman in them, who is my fav DC character. I haven't read that much Superman either, but for some reason I like the way I think the films are going with him more than the comics have.

Thats true, in some ways i still think it was the best evolution for batman...batman is a detective after all, and most detective media is gritty or suspenseful, so i think it was a proper transition. the problem is that since batman became popular, DC basically tried to do the same shit for who knows what reason, they take themsevles too serious.

I agree with you, i absolutely love marvel for basically the same reasons. That and marvels characters are more believable whereas DC is more dragon ball z'esque in terms of power.

And why is it fine for Injustice and elseworlds comics, but not for the movies, which are pretty much by definition elseworld stories as well?

I remember taking an Uber and my driver and I were discussing Rogue One. He said that Rogue One would lead into the fourth movie, having him slain multiple rebels. This would be why he's so weak in A New Hope.
