Thing is... it used to be 20k credits. So at least one reward got reduced by 75% as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see this happen on a wider scale.
I wish we'd get back more unlockables like that dude

Then they wouldn't have anything to offer. People would slowly switch to Xbox because it has cross platform play AND exclusives. The only people who would really stay if PS lost all their exclusives are the people who don't have the money to switch consoles.
>If it was just Naughty Dog, I think you are underestimating the amount of succesful and loved exclusive Playstation has.
Maybe their past exclusives like Spyro and Crash(another ND game), but Spyro is now multi-platform and not an exclusive. Gran Turismo was popular, but I don't know many people who would buy a playstation for a fairly generic racing game(at least the ones I played were pretty generic). Truth be told, I can't remember the last time I even heard about a GT game. Whenever I hear about playstation, it's almost always regarding ND games or non-exclusive games. The only other exclusive I care about for PS is Sly Cooper, but I'm not going to buy a whole console for it.
After a quick Google search of the top sold PS3 games, every ND title for the PS3 is up there in the top 12 aside from the Jak and Daxter trilogy remaster.
GT is top according to this which honestly surprises me, but ND games take up a lot of slots. It still supports my point however. ND is a major contributor to PS's sales. You're saying that if they lost all their exclusives that they'd be fine, but that's simply not true as they would have nothing to keep players there.
look at sales in japan comparing xbox to sony. japan alone will keep sony a float not counting all the other stuff they do
pretty sure this pic was made during 2012 cause i remember seeing this post and half the comments asking questions about the Sony thing only to find out no one could find a single piece of evidence to show they were having any issues. pretty sure this is XBOX fanboy propaganda.

It's actually too expensive for me too, but it's that I got a huge surge of money that I'll never get again so I just took the opportunity. But as shironomia says, a decent enough PC (i.e 60 FPS on most current games on low-modified high) wont cost you more than 400€, but never ever fucking never buy a prebuilt. They're a huge scam, you definitely know someone who knows how to put together a PC, and there are tons of guides on how to DIY. A tip from me, if you don't wanna feel constricted while building your PC by using one of those de-electrifying bracelets, just do it on the floor, no socks, feet on a radiator, works just as well and feels great in the winter.
I just always keep a hand or arm on the metal case.
Some don't buy metal case tho, idk why you wouldn't though.
The thing is, you don't even have to invest that much. 300-400€ is already enough if you want to get a stable budget PC that can keep up with consoles until the end of their lifetime.
The fact that you have to put in a BIG investment one time just to get a decent PC is nothing more than false propaganda that gets spread around by everyone that thinks "muh consoles so much better than pc"
I'm a pc builder and don't spread these lies, 300-400 is an unusable pc, you would still need a monitor, keyboard, a mouse, and speakers or a headset to be able to play games. While I do believe getting a pc makes way more sense than getting a console that can only be used for games/videos. Pc's, even cheap ones, aren't that cheap.
I'm no professional pc builder but do it as a hobby and how about you don't spread lies?
1. "You would still need a monitor": Not really, you can just as well hook up a pc to a tv to use for gaming. Both PC and console need something to output video and audio on, so you can't add that to the cost of
PC. Since both, video and audio output devices, are a requirement you need for pc and console, not something exclusive only PC needs.
2. "You would still need a keyboard and a mouse": Yeah, but unless you HAVE to go for super gaming hardware, you can easily get a very well usable combo of keyboard and mouse for less than 20€
And just to prove you wrong
Oh boy what do we have here, a PC that can run games just as well as consoles do at a better price/performance ratio? Who would have thought!
i mean its not neccessarily propaganda, pcs are more expensive than consoles for a reason
that reason being that the hardware across every PC is different and that its harder to optimize for that
thats why games run better on a console hardware than they would on similar pc hardware.
thats also why you have to get better hardware to achieve the same affect.
at the same time, there are some extremely affordable machines out there.
"PCs are more expensive than consoles for a reason"
Says who? Who says that you have to pay more for a PC that equals a console in terms of performance?
Also that's not how optimizing works. While it is true that every PC has different hardware, you don't usually "optimize" for a certain piece of hardware. You optimize your software so that it generally requires as little resources as possible from the machine it runs on.
Let me put it like this: You are partly right, it is easier to optimize for consoles, that is because they all have the same hardware. You know how the hardware works. You know the limits of it's performance. That's why it's easy to optimize for it.
Now, PC's all have different hardware, does that mean that you have to optimize it for every PC? No. It's not a thing that's different from pc to pc, it's different from pc vs console.
Now why do PC games run so poorly sometimes? The reason is either of these two:
1. The developers were simply shitty and didn't put much effort into optimizing at all, which results in poor performance on any hardware.
2. This is the reason most often seen, the games are ports from console and simply don't get optimized for PC hardware at all. While Consoles are on the hardware part basically PC's, some things still work differently.
Now, what happens if you take a console game, and simply write workarounds so that it works on PC? Right, it performs like shit, because it isn't optimized for PC generally at all.
What would have to be done is that they completely rewrite the parts that are optimized for a certain consoles so that they use computer's resources properly, and not just in a workaround way.
Now, who do we have to blame for often poorly optimized PC games?
That every PC is different? No.
That it's harder to optimize for PC? No.
That publishers/developers are too lazy to properly rewrite their programs to run on PC because all they care for is the money they get from a fast port on another platform? Yes. Yes, that's who we have to blame.
Now, do we have to buy a PC that has better hardware than consoles to get the same result as on console on poorly optimized games? Yes.
Does that mean that we have to pay more? No.
PC price/performance ratio is better. Which means? That for the same price, we can get a PC that outperforms a console enough to get the same result on games.
Now, what do we take from all this?
1. You can get a PC for the same price as a console that can:
- Run games that are available on both pc and console just as well as the console
- Can do everything a PC can do that a console can not. Which is a damn lot.
2. The reason that "PC is more expensive than console" is a widely spread thought is why?
- Uninformed people that just take everything they hear at word
- Misinformed people
like you, no offense
that, for wrong reasons, think that you would need a more expensive PC to get equal results compared to a console.
What is true that generally you have to pay some little amounts extra for a PC, because you need extra hardware.
keyboard, mouse, which are incredibly cheap
Monitor does not necessarily count as extra hardware here because console needs that aswell. It's often seen like "i already have a tv for my console but would need an extra monitor for my pc", but that's just straight out wrong. Just like you can connect a console to a monitor, you can connect a pc to a tv for gaming. A console requires a device to output video, and a pc requires a device to output video. So that's not some PC-exclusive requirement.
While that is the case in some/most cases, I don't have a monitor (I'm using a laptop) So, I'd have to buy a monitor, keyboard, gaming mouse etc. too.
Where as I already have a pretty good TV. I mean I guess I could always use the PC as a console.

Have you ever dug a deep hole? Shit takes a long time.
Digging a tunnel wide enough for people to safely crawl through over at least 14 feet with a 180 degree bend at the 6-8 ft mark would take a long ass time.
you would need to install supports at the bend under the wall or else it would just collapse, you have to drag all of the dirt you break off on the other side back out of your side of the hole, and you need to be careful not to make too much sound as well as checking to make sure no one is around each time you dag out your dirt.
Digging that hole would take well over a day, and having more people wouldn't even help as only a single person can be digging. The odds of anyone making it all the way through without someone noticing the giant hole in the ground would be pretty damn small.
Some one willing to walk across a desert in another country will have little issue digging 6 feet down.
Sensors have been proven to be false positives.

It's just a bunch of gas station shit in essence.
