yeah, they totally got the original cast back and they're not awkward, jokeless hostages at all. just because they didn't even attempt to be comedic characters in this movie and only showed for the bare minimum legally required by their contracts doesn't mean they weren't into it.
everyone definitely only hates this movie because it isn't funneling enough money to the original cast, not at all because it's an unfunny, pandering mess that no one asked for with shit CGI, sexist harassment at Thor, and racist stereotypes that even Chris Rock realized were played out 10 years ago.
maybe if some of the previously established fucking hilarious cast of actual comedians tried writing the script, this would have been okay. almost everyone in the cast is proven funny as hell, but they bring absolutely NONE of that with them in this movie. there are only like 5 jokes total in the whole film: 3 of them are from Hemsworth and the other 2 aren't funny

In anon from above. I can't stand Melissa Mccarthy in really any of her movies they seem really dull and it seems like she is trying to hard to make jokes. If Paul had done his job and produced a good trailer for this film it berry there wouldn't be that much hate (first guy responded said my statements were disliking female comedians however that's not the case as I like since female comedians. Honestly though, do you think the criticism of the new "annie" was racist or just people not liking pandering. It's similar with this film.) unless you think directors are supposed to sell a film as unfunny if it a comedy. I'm not familiar with this director does he make bad trailers for all his films?

Yeah McCarthy is really a hit or miss, I can't help but feel that her whole shtick is "Hey look, i'm a fat chick!". As for the other actresses, I think they're alright. Obviously the new movie will NEVER amount to the original, but it's just a different kind of movie. Reboots if anything should always be completely different from the film, or they shouldn't exist at all. If you want the original Ghostbusters, just watch the original. I agree that the trailer for the new Ghostbusters was god-awful and dont even get me started on the Fallout Boy remix of the original song, but Paul Feig has only really made 3 other movies and then theres Freaks and Geeks. Other than that hes one of the producers who helped create movies such as Pineapple Express, This Is the End, etc. Honestly I don't know why they didn't just make a new ghostbusters movie with Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jason Siegal and Craig Robinson. That would've been an awesome fucking movie

Lol I haven't seen it yet (broke as a mofo at the moment) but I def will, not because I'm particularly passionate about the franchise but because damn they need all the sales they can get at this point.

There's loud-mouthed bigots in every group of people. Us, feminists, racists, extremists, you name it.

Its on Netflix if youve got access to that. It's a pretty good heartwarming highschool drama. But yeah, I totally agree. Fans of the original movie completely negate the fact that the original cast is actually in the movie and they're getting a significant portion of the profits because of licensing.

Let the bigots bigot, soon enough they'll be consumed by their own hatred as they ponder their meager existence and question why nobody wants to be around them anymore.

Based on the fact that modern blacks have a victim culture

Lets look at unwed pregnancy rates, in the 1960's 25% of black mothers were unwed, today its 75% did white people go around anulling black marriages? No

Lets look at literacy too, the 82% black city of detrot is 47% functionally illiterate, did white people kick the black kids out of class and make them unable to read? No

The real problem as i see it is that theblack community has these very real problems but they blame it all on society when in reality its just because the young black kids of today just don't give a shit about functioning in a normal society

To point this out isn't racist, it doesnt assert any premise that my race is superior to another in any way, all im doing is looking at a real problem that we all agree exists and saying "well maybe they should try doing this differently" the guy goes around saying " hurr durr dumb niggers need to go back to africa" is the racist

>The number of unwed pregnancy rates has increased since the 1960s for both white and black people, also give me some sources
>Literacy rates in impoverished places such as detroit (Which also has white people) have to do with the lack of school funding and the shitty educational system America has that you all complain about
>They're trying to do things differently by protesting the fact that people get shot for having petty shit like Marijuana, which i'm sure we can both agree is pretty far fetched. People shouldnt be afraid of the police, they should feel safe around them. Lets not forget the fact that there are countless double standards with our corrupt ass law system that gives colored people longer sentences for shit that white people wouldnt get it for. You see it in the news all the time. Racism is alive and well, and Black people are doing their best to police their own communities. It's kinda hard when you're only 50 years removed from segregation, a system that purposefully placed the black community into impoverished slums. You think that just because they became equal that they automatically became rich ? No sir. Where there is poverty, there is crime. That's simple socioeconomics. whether you're black or white. It's hard to get out of the hood, and i'm speaking from experience as a non-POC who was exposed to this kind of shit.

Yeah it's not like they give you anything valuable anyway. I'm a pretty big fan of Ghostbusters and I actually kinda liked the new one, Paul Feig isn't a terrible director considering he did Freaks and Geeks (that show is amazing). People around here just don't like change, it threatens them and makes them feel like they're living in an Orwellian society run by feminists and whatever else they decide to hate. If I must get thumbed downed for my opinion, so be it. Y'all are a bunch of haters.
