I've been using Unity, but I've also been developing my own engine so hopefully you'll get to see some stuff from that too.

I love berserk too, and the anime is well worth watching if you have the time.
The animation is easily the biggest problem i have with it. They also took a few liberties in the story. Like Caska was just in the refugee camp with the whores, she wasn't picked up at that waterfall cave or anything

They completely glazed over The Lost Children arc, which I think is one of the best fight scenes in Berserk. It also has some amazing visuals that I think would look fantastic animated. They decided it wasn't worth it, and we are now poorer for that decision.

My guess is that they had trouble showing the gored up elves or the barn full of dead, burning kids.
But i agree, damn shame they left it out.

First couple of episodes were pretty bad, especially since they mixed up a bunch of chapters together and skipped Lost Children Arc. So far it's been adapting it alright other then some pacing issues. And the animation looks liked dog shit sometimes. I say give it a try, but keep expectations low.

I haven't read the books or the comics but the show gets a little better with each episode imo

I'll look into it. MGR is one of my favorite games of all time, and so tragic that I'll probably never see a sequel. Armstrong is one of my favorite video game villains, for all his 2 minutes of screen time. Seriously, how do you make a villain that great and only have him show up in the last level?

I've tried to play MGS 1 and 2, but I never really got into them. Phantom pain appeals to me, because it looks more like the kind of game I typically enjoy.

Gotta play 3, man. Its the best starting point for anyone in the series Probably the best game in the series too . I get it too, I was the same way, didn't understand the hype or the appeal until I played 3, and then the campy whimsical charm began to set in, and all was right with the world.
