its not about a 'cure' saddly but instead they want to 'treat' the issue so that they can milk the sick person for as much money as possible before they croak.

for a lot of things, it's much easier to cure them if caught early. Awareness promotes getting regular check ups and shit like that, so it makes it more likely that you can catch it early enough

eddsworld was nice and shit and he died from leukemia which was quite gay

Too be fair, if spending 100 dollars on "awareness" nets 120 dollars back from people who wouldn't usually donate, it's better to spend the dollars on awareness. I could start a foundation for anything, but unless people know of it I wont get any cash to complete whatever I'm getting the foundation for.

Hell, you don't even have to spend a hundred dollars.

Talk to an elementary school or something, and you can get 200+ little quick crayon drawings that you can put around town, plus the kids telling their parents and such.

How do you get someone to talk to an elementary school, do you think they do it for free?

I mean to a principal. Pitch it as an education point, and they'll do just about anything that isn't a crime.

I honestly don't think that comment was worth so many red thumbs... It definitely isn't fair to almost get banned for a single comment after signing up only a month ago. Needless to say I thumbed it down anyway. #YOLO.
