Again, literally anything can infect a baby. If it's done properly like any medical procedure a circumcision is totally safe in the short run

Any medical procedure comes with a risk. That's part of the professionals job, to weigh risk and benefit. There is little to no benefit of the procedure in most cases, so it is a completely unwarranted risk. Even if it is relatively safe, there's no reason to do it in the first place.

That's what i've been saying, there is little reason to do it, but it's not like it's particularly dangerous

I saw the same thing about Africa and there's actually attempts by China to set up trade networks with like Iceland through a potential northern route. The bloomberg article i posted points at the resource scarcity per person as the biggest problem. Also there's a massive drinkable water shortage. China has been doing very well in the recent decade and this growth has setup many middle class families as well as given hope for the low class to move up. America has shifted greatly to a more socialistic country since we have undergone the worst recession, potentially a depression, since the Great One.
So to summarize, I expect great pressures on China for resources and if they can't match what their populace needs then it could create political change to a socialistic manner putting emphasis on the populace or it could go a little darker and we'll see massive internal problems of supporting the people and the media wouldn't make China seem like an investors paradise.
-As for your steel and iron. I bet that is a fine investment for right now but probably check up on that chinese market in 5 years to see if they're pulling the Africa investment off just fine. I just expect to see in half a decade a real resource crunch which will drop the steel and iron prices for buildings. But in 5 years we could expect Europe to be doing well, hell maybe Iraq reconsruction.
