That is the key part of this whole definition.

Detachable magazine...

Using the bullet buttons that they require for capacity, turns it into a fixed magazine, thus almost all of those rules are not applicable.

I thought those rules only applied to semi autos?

Ok so I guess I fucked up by not doing all of my homework but it would technically be legal in California because it is a pump action. However there would probably be restrictions due to the "high capacity" magazines and the fact that they are detachable. But because it's California they would probably just change the definition of assault weapon and ban this rifle too

Thank you for sharing that link. I think I remember where I saw that from, the movie about the copy killer mimicking Poe books.

it is an insanely fun game, I've got something like 500 hours in it. Gets even better once you start modding it.
#12 to #11 - thatguyblaze (01/25/2015) [-]
Definitely, I can't play it without b9 or kw. Right now I'm trying to put massive space hangars/refueling stations around every planet.
#13 to #12 - mildlyinteresting (01/25/2015) [-]
b9 and KW are probably the best mods ever, along with EVE and kerbal engineer. Can't play without em anymore. pic related, it's my current spess station.

By the way what mod are those solar panels from?

I can never get my stations to look like that. Yours looks like something legit built by nasa.
#16 to #14 - mildlyinteresting (01/25/2015) [-]
Damn, thats bigger than any station than I ever built, how many launches did it take? If you want realistic looking station parts check out Fustek station parts, and Chaka Monkey Exploration.

I believe it took about 11 for each module or whatever they are are called plus an additional 6 to fill the rcs and orange tanks. So much grinding through contracts to fund this thing. It took me about 1.5 mil funds to make one at a 250 Km orbit
#18 to #17 - mildlyinteresting (01/25/2015) [-]
Nice, I don't really play career anymore, the tech tree always bugged me, and I find it to be waaay to much of a grind. don't even get me started on the modeling and texturing quality of the new buildings. But yeah, overall 8/10 game, way too much space.
