Oh I understand what you mean by coming to grips with you're own thoughts, believe me. I also understand the concept of exp, I really do.
All I'm saying is that you're brain will try and trick you back into the dream. Things happen, you follow someone, etc, and you forget you remembered. That's the best way to explain it. The control you're speaking of is more based upon just realizing you're in a dream (I guess no one else ever does that), and then NOT panicking and waking up. That's your thought control. If you can manage that, well, now you're in a world where the walls don't exist. It's not "let go to really get into it", it's you're here now, and don't panic.

Not really. I've never taken LSD for the simple fact that the reality I experienced seemed to far outweigh anything that could be achieved through drugs. Coming to the realization of an entirely self-constructed reality, you're Neo. There is no spoon. It's more about the recognition, realizing, remembering you are in a dream. Falling into it, letting go, you lose lucidity. And, strange as it may sound, your brain will try and trick you into forgetting you're lucid. You actually don't want to let go. You want to remain aware of yourself within the dream. Only then can you control it. That being said, there is still a psychological risk involved. Once you become lucid, the auto-erase part of your dream doesn't happen. You remember EVERYTHING that happens in a lucid dream, as a memory you actually experienced. Granted, you can easily tell when you're dreaming and not, but like, I remember trying out wizard spells. Creating fire in my hands, using wind to knock books off of shelves. No trails, no hallucinations shaken off. Totally safe, and happening in a perceived reality.

well no what i was saying is it takes a good understanding of your own thoughts and emotions to be able to handle tripping so i believe the same skill set in being a responsible user would apply to the lucid dream

watched that part of the video, is it really like that?
Because when people describe a marijuana high they always say that colors are more intense and things lag, but I never experience any of that while I'm high.

So I'm just wondering, is this an exaggeration or it that LITERALLY what it looks like?

all in all excellent drug though if your a happy person youll have the most fun youve ever had in your life every time i trip i end up with my entire face in pain from smiling so much, my friends i usually end up all crying laughing, last time we tripped we laughed for 45 minutes straight because my friend "want me to text your house phone" and we thought it was hilarious because you cant text a house phone

the thing is though is things that wouldnt make sense at all when your sober make alot of sense when your tripping, i dont know how to say this right yet but its a very inward drug you end up thinking alot and it completely changes the way you think like i said things that dont make sense sober are completely logical when you're tripping
#57 - thatfuego (02/21/2014) [-]
well you can get acid flashbacks but youll have certain triggers and its very faint, its like wait am i tripping, ive tripped many times mostly i can compare it to being drunk and if youd like to know what the visuals look like i found a video that has an effect exactly like what i see when i start to trip balls, skip to 2:30 its youtube obviously /watch?v=VbCxnXdRfVE
