Yeah I know right, I either get shit from gay supporters because I don't support, and I also get shit from Christians because I'm not against it like they are. Just can't win.

it's kind of funny because both sides are miserable and will continue to be miserable so long as the other exists, yet they don't realize that they create their own misery when they choose to believe that their misery is dependent on the other not causing them misery. it's like a never ending circle of shit. i'm glad that we don't have to be a part of it.

When a user gets serious. Says **** as it is.
Making a stand against a rather popular user.

In other words, I couldn't help but read your truest comment and then not come to tell you about my appreciation for it.

plus that comic needed some serious work

I feel that comic creation is a process that relies on having both drawing talent AND comedic talent.

Often times, a comic illustrator may produce very high quality, artwork.
But that'ts all it would be, just the eye candy. And so the joke itself, sucks. It's not even worth the effort of the artwork.

The funny wasn't there, and it's understandable because some people, while very good at drawing, may be nowhere near as good at creating good jokes.

Jokesters who can't draw for **** could team up with those who are good at making the art.
Or better yet, they themselves LEARN to make art on their own. Doesn't have to be high quality actually, just as long as the joke succeeds.

Comic creator itsthetie is a good example of this user. Talented in both crafting clever jokes and making good artwork.

I wonder how this concept of diversely skilled people putting their heads together isn't a big enough thing.

it is strange that such team work isn't more common. i feel bad though for these artists who are trying to make this great thing, but simply aren't putting in as much effort into the joke as they should be, especially in the instances where the artistry is spectacular and over the top, but the joke is only so so.

nonetheless, this whole crafting of the perfect comic thing is a process. i do feel that this process is stifled significantly though when users don't provide proper feedback. much like with product testing, if the particular product flops, it is helpful if a focus group could provide some insight into why it did so. if we were to apply this to funnyjunk, we might actually be able to get somewhere and create some incredible things together.

it would also help though if some of these users would take a hint and change up their posts if it receives negative feedback. unproductive feedback may not be helpful in letting you know how to improve but at the very least it tells you there is a need for improvement.

At the same time though, I feel bad that we - the users of this site who know what we want in content - do not put forth our own efforts to make the content we would like to see.

I gotta give credit to these unfunny artists, they have the motivation that I somehow lack.

same here.

i'm not only bad at constructing jokes, but i am way too lazy to put any effort into either making a good joke or creating something worth seeing.

i usually just repost **** . only two times have i ever made content on this site that made it to the front page. every other time i just got down voted.

it's messed up because a lot of people are up voting things that shouldn't be getting any thumbs at all, but then everyone else turns around and rages hard. in a way, it's almost like the majority of users are saying to these posters that these are the things we want to see. if that's the case though, i'm very surprised that there's so much more anger and hatred of a post than comments commending or taking part of the joke. it's paradoxical

okay. thank you. i just felt the attitude of most users was very negative and hostile as apposed to productive and helpful. it was genuinely intriguing to me
