Have you seen this yet? www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pQ_ZozZIio

Oddly enough that made me want it even more. Probably waiting till next year to get it though.

I've even had it happen to me.

I just wanted to use the rowboat to my jackdaw, but i ended up invisible, my jackdaw disappearing into the ground and me sliding back to the rowboat.
After about 3 attempts of seeing my Jackdaw come back and go to hell, i did get it succesfully.

It's a fun game, truly.

Is he...uh... a fun character? Anything like Ezio?

Not that I hated Connor, but Ezio was just an amazing character to play (and not just because of how amazingly he killed people).

I would think so, since he's a pirate. But than again, I thought Connor was going to go a different direction than he did.

I find him oddly similar to me, just an average ******** given person that can be a bit on the rude side.
At the start of the game, he's your average pirate out for personal gain and glory.

Then, as events happen, he starts feeling the damage he causes with just doing what he feels like. Basically doing the assassin's motive, just going Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted.
Because of that damage and certain unfortunate events, some because of his actions, he starts wisening up and he effectively progresses into a wiser and better man.

He's atleast got more depth than Connor, who was all "WHERE IS CHARLES LEE?" (Wich i blame on childhood traumas)

A fair point.

It's good that there's some progression then... gives me something to look forward to.

Hopefully there might be some fixes for the silly issues by the time I get my copy.

If Steam's Family Sharing was already out, i'd hve shared my library with you, but unfortunatly, it's not out yet.

Just hope it goes on sale during winter sale!

Family Sharing.

Oh my that intrigues me.

Although, even though my comp can handle games like that, I generally save them for consoles. I prefer to keep my PC gaming to strategy games, don't ask me why.

I should probably buy a fan or two, to be completely honest. I would rather not kill my computer again...

Well, Strategy games don't work on consoles, so i can understand that.

I just kinda stopped buying console games, despite being an omni-gamer.
The Xbox Live costs sucked and PS3 was just kinda "Meh" to me in comparison to my laptop's power;

Family SHaring is basically "Makes your library 2x bigger and then share it with 10 people"
The only thing to it is that you can't play the same game at the same time, for as far as i know.

That's pretty sick.

Yeah, I just need to invest some time and money into getting a good enough computer, and perhaps then I'll integrate into being more PC oriented. But having a console is useful when you live with others, which is probably why I'll eventually get a new console.

Laptops... now that's something I'm probably gonna get into soon. They have laptops that can run stuff nicely? I can only imagine those would be hella expensive.

€800 for mine and it runs Black Flag on High

Do mind, there come large issues with a laptop.
One, your power cord is almost mandatory for optimal performance.
Two, you can't upgrade your parts, so you're ****** when technology moves up.
Three, they need some getting used to.

Despite those cons, i still find the mobility of a laptop handy and mine's quite a decent one.

PC-Gaming can play PS2 better than PS3 or PS4 can, so i find that a pro.

Yeah. I'm not to worried about next generation stuff as I play, for the most part, current MOBAs and old strategy games. I'll be heading to college very soon, so laptop gaming might be my best option.

May I ask what company made your laptop? I'm not looking quite yet but I probably should have some good names on the top of my head for when I do.

Asus, but they're terrible, as i've heard.

I've found nothing to complain about, but if you're going with PC-Gaming, i advise you looking into building a laptop.
Most of the times it's available pre-assembled or if not, you can puzzle the pieces together.

It'll allow for a more much more efficient cost-power ratio.

Well, perhaps I will as I ducked out of building my PC due to time constraints.

If I manage my time better before I go, perhaps I will.
#1234 to #1233 - kinginthenorth (12/02/2013) [-]
It's not that terribly timeconsuming, but that might be because i'm handy with puzzles, altough perhaps a bit simple when it comes to other problems.

Time management is a tricky thing to get right, it's gotten better, but not perfect.
Like instead of a sleeping hour, i have more of a sleeping gap of "I'll sleep between 23:00 and 0:00"
And i'm still up at 23:53

I have mostly been depriving myself of sleep, usually getting a solid 5-6 hours during the week.

Of course on weekends, I sleep way too much.

I found ways to motivate myself.
Mostly kind of things like "Man, do this **** or i'm gonna be disappointed in you"
And self-disappointment somehow works.

On weekends and vacations, i average 10 hours of sleep, in comparison to my steady 6 hours a day.

Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag - Official Pirate Song "Leave Her Johnny Shanty" [HQ]
Until then, i guess i'll be one of those forgotten names.

Guess getting banned really did work miracles, as it does for most people.
