he could use his ice breath and carry the thing away. i dont see the problem.

Also worth a mention that the meteor is also travelling at a considerable speed, and very very hot, in the time it took him to freeze it with his breath, judging from other times he's used his ice breath and how long it took to freeze stuff, the meteor would've probably already touched down, and even in the off chance of him freezing it in time, he'd have then have to change it trajectory, and all that force and momentum it has, it all has to go somewhere, it's not going to stop instantly...

TL;DR - Supes isn't that fast.

He is super strong and super fast. Not super smart.
Got to remember he regularly gets beaten by a space rock. Not evan a particularly evil space rock.

Not super smart?
In the Canon, he read through the entire human catalog of medical procedures in the span of a few moments and then successfully put that knowledge into practice by performing surgery

except he is canonically super smart, also, thats like saying normal people regularly get beaten by bullets, not even particularly evil bullets.

That depends on the author and the specific run you're talking about.
In the young justice canon, he's smart but not super smart. He could easily be considered a great intelligence for normal people, but there are plenty of regular humans smarter than him as well.

And if I could move faster than bullets, was strong and endurable enough to not get immediately fucked up by bullets and had laser vision, I'm pretty sure I'd have a chance against bullets

he was barely in young justice what are you talking about? also the bullet thing was an analogy, bullets are to us what kryptonite is to him.
User avatar

Was this not the new young justice?

And you should make that clearer because you said it in reply to circuit talking about superman getting beaten by space rocks, which he moves faster than, is strong and endurable enough to not get immediately fucked up by and he has laser vision

as far as i know there is no new young justice, and by space rocks i assumed he meant kryptonite

The newer one, it's a few years old now I guess.

And I though he meant asteroids, which is in the gif so that's why I thought of it

fair enough, ive just always heard people call kryptonite space rocks so i assumed he was talking about that.

It's the [ANIME SPECIAL POWER OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS TRADEMARK] of the series "JoJo Bizarre Adventure"

Just like Bankai in Bleach, the eyes and what not in Naruto, Pokemon in Pokemon, etc... What makes the chracters superheroes instead of regular citizens.
