Depends on how many people actually buy it though. I knew someone who worked on the force unleashed games and he said he hated how it turned out, but by the end of the day you do what you do to get money and survive. If the game didn't sell, then the company would put the blame onto them for not fixing bugs, or making it look pleasing enough, and then terminate their contracts.

except the people working on the game have no choice on what they work on once under contract. While working at an animation company I would come into work on a monday and see my schedule for the week. If it had a new code on it, it meant a new series. You get 0 choice on what you work on besides walking out on your contract, but that will effectively blacklist you from the industry.

Ok, I admit, I had a mind blank, I have to babysit my nieces and nephews today while still recovering from the flu so I am not thinking straight. Needless to say, if I buy the game I am supporting those who worked on it, not the company. I cant choose where my money goes but I don't want them to have their careers ended because of working on a game that flopped because people hate konami.

eh i fucked that comment up.
point is you aren't thinking straight. that money you use to buy the game will further konami's terrible deeds. im done here.

"but supporting konami makes you scum" That was the part that I was getting at, the part that if I do get this 10/10 game, I and it will be shit because of the company itself.
#99 - tehavatar (09/22/2016) [-]
how can a game be 10/10 and be shit? you're completely missing the point.
what im saying is by buying it you are supporting a soulless company that sucks the light from the goodness of the earth and then spits in the face of its consumers. and thats bad.
