Yeah but I mean, if a company actually developed the technology needed to travel to the moon cheaply and even stablish a base there, sure take whatever the fuck you want man, you just made humanity develop even more.

While it's true there are cases of criminals suing their victims, few of them actually win the case. What's more, in this particular case, the officer is likely 100% protected here.

Even if they wanted to sue, Good Samaritan protects rescuers and emergency workers from being sued for causing distress while doing their rescuing thing, unless it was REALLY bad or somehow made the situation a LOT worse, which is rare.
