#136 - lack of hunters in Crysis 2 and 3 is very disturbing  [+] (4 replies) 07/12/2013 on A FJ Challenge +3

Hunters were probably my favorite enemy in the game.

man, i suddenly feel bad about having my own definition of the crysis experience being defined by crysis 2 and not the first one.
but i should have played the first game before the second. but i didn't.

Its fine. Like I said, I probably didn't like Crysis 2 and 3 as much because they were different. That doesn't mean they were bad games or anything.

I wouldn't really think of them as crysis, I mean they're great and all but it's nowhere near similar to the first two
#40 - Just a random non-fun fact, by 2030, 40% of UK will be Muslim.  [+] (3 replies) 07/12/2013 on Never forget Srebrenica! +1

You can't really make a reliable statement in this matter unless you say "if current trends will continue". During the 17 years we have until 2030 ANYTHING could happen, making your statement completely false.

Just saying

Could the statement also be false if the pyramid scheme took effect?

Sure, but I'm pretty sure this statistic is inclined in that direction.

I also dislike the change in the aliens. They were scarier (I can't think of a better word) when they were just flying around because you never knew when they would just swoop in and start shooting you. And the scouts were a fairly common enemy, but they were hard to take down because they were always up in the air.

Hah, I hated Crysis 1 (stopped about an hour in) because it was too open, and forests suck. I loved the second because of the city and linear path. To each their own, I suppose.
#124 - eyeofsauron (07/12/2013) [-]
I absolutely love Crysis. I never got Warhead, but want to at some time. The second and third were let downs in my opinion, probably because they were so different.

It's not that open anymore, it's far more linear and just... it's just not how it was before. Before you had tons of options how to finish your mission, now you only have two, sneak or just armour mode and charge in

yeah warhead was good, but i think that Crysis 2 was the best. but i love them all

crysis and warhead were the only good ones, crysis 2 and 3 are MUCH worse (thanks to consolization)

and that's your opinion and i respect that.
#137 - anon (07/12/2013) [-]
but that opinion comes from experience and the fact that a '07 game has better graphics and gameplay than the other two (fine crysis 3 had some nice tech in it, but overall low texture quality issue and really low draw distance still exists which no shader can help)

also crysis had the awesome mountain level

crysis 2 just kinda stopped after you killed that big thing on the air craft carrier and didn't show you anything after so it didn't really end IMO
