Complaints are more credible when they are filed with the police rather than campus security or twitter.

because when one person says something happend to them i can be easy to lie. but when a whole group of people are affected it becomes a lot harder thereby granting the claim more legitimacy. evidence is still needed to convict someone but there's enough to at least say something occurred.

To play devils advocate, one thing to bring up: Salem Witch Trials

That being said, I agree with you

To be fair, the whole town was tripping balls due to bad crops. It wasn't just mob mentality, the whole town was seriously ill and didn't know it until a week or two later.

well there really arent that many health risks. all theyre changing is whats already in the food.. and its much harder to modify hundreds or thousands of acres of land as opposed to maybe 1000 seeds as a basis and then they grow.

and i realized a misunderstanding or miscommunication on one of our ends. the nutrients i was refering to are nutrients in the food not nutrients in the soil. the big thing many people who support gmos mention is golden rice which is a type of rice with a chemical not normaly found in it.

it finally dawned upon me, what if lovecraft was right?
what if the people of innsmouth just decided to stop trying to summon some old ones and instead play the long rund and infiltrate society with their children?

weve been engineering things long before the advent of modern gene modification techniques. also that land inside sities simply isnt good. like there are no nutrients in it because nothings really dying and being absorbed in it. its better to have a smaller area producing more because it does less harm over all. you dont need to cut down a forest because youve depleted other soil in the area and it wont be good for a long time. thats the purpose make the food more efficent so we can do more with it

In all it makes sense why they do it, im not saying theyre dumb for trying, im just saying if they can genetically modify seeds they can modify soil just as easy. With less health risk generations down the line.
