Imagine, if you will, what an English teacher would say of a peaceful riot. A peaceful riot is an oxymoron, but such opposing terms can be used to exemplify a point. In this case, a peaceful riot (or a peaceful protest) would show the dignity, restraint, maturity, and humanity of the people involved.
