And to add to lyiat's comment, ancient greeks believe in having no hair below the neck. So if you're going to have a pretty Gorgan it's going to be hairless down there.

Historically? Gorgans were so goddamn ugly they turned you to stone. They were like ogres. Modern depictions have turned them into something that closely resembles Lamia, another greek monster that was a woman with a snakelike lower body.

my mum always told me that it's better to make too much than not enough. if you make too much, you can freeze the rest and eat it another time, or refrigerate it if you plan on eating the next day.
if you use too much sauce, you can always add stock to thicken it, or reduce it over a high heat, or you can add more substance such as small vegetables like peas and sweetcorn or meat to make it less monotonous. if in doubt about how well cooked something is, it's usually best to try a little bit to see, can also be done when adding seasoning, etc. with meat it's typically a good idea to cook it until it is just about to start burning, if you are cooking the meat in a pan or pot, keep it on a low heat to keep it warm, if you're cooking it in an oven, then once it starts cooling down and the over is off, you can use the remaining heat of the oven to keep it warm.
you can do the same with noodles, which is somewhat similar and much easier to cook.
also try experimenting with seasoning, but never more than a teaspoon per seasoning per 2 people unless you think it really needs it.
fresh herbs and dry herbs differ greatly in the effect they have. fresh is better for stews and adding after cooking, dry is better when frying for example.

i like the beat, and the flow of it is nice, but im not so fond of the lyrics, or the music video. the lyrics seem too cliche, and simple.

User avatar #20 to #19 - somekornchick (12/05/2014) [-]
in my club, we only do 50m times
and my best time for that is 31 seconds (freestyle)
whats your 200m IM time? and whats the longest distance youve done?
#21 to #20 - aerosol ONLINE (12/05/2014) [-]
Longest in a meet or in practice?
My fastest 50 is 26 seconds
git gud
User avatar #22 to #21 - somekornchick (12/05/2014) [-]
in a meet.
Do you belong to a club? or is it a whenever thing to you?
User avatar #23 to #22 - aerosol ONLINE (12/05/2014) [-]
The longest I've ever done is a 200.
I swam for my Highschool swim team but I still like to do a little practice to stay sharp.
User avatar #24 to #23 - somekornchick (12/05/2014) [-]
Whats your longest distance overall? any KM swims?
#25 to #24 - aerosol ONLINE (12/05/2014) [-]
Wait, how many KM's we talkin here?
Our coach made us do 100 100's without stopping once.

we do KM swims in my swim club. We have 3, 5, 7, and 10 KM swims, and then a 5 hour swim to do as many laps as we can, and all are non stop

i've only done my 5KM swim so far, soo yeah. less than you, i think...

Man im out of shape
User avatar #27 to #26 - aerosol ONLINE (12/05/2014) [-]
That's actually really good. The mile is the longest I've ever seen anyone else swim.

So do people just sit there and count laps for 5 hours or is that not how it works?
User avatar #28 to #27 - somekornchick (12/05/2014) [-]
our coaches sit in chairs at the end of the lane and count them for us. then we get a certificate, trophy, and a t-shirt, cus we're special little snowflakes.
User avatar #29 to #28 - aerosol ONLINE (12/05/2014) [-]
Idk I think I'd have earned a ******* trophy for going 5 hours non-stop.

Ever do any relay races?
User avatar #30 to #29 - somekornchick (12/05/2014) [-]
sometimes. we have a set schedule for every week.
I do them at the annual school swimming carnival, but i dont really like it, since i dont trust other people so much.

do you have an IM time?
#31 to #30 - aerosol ONLINE (12/05/2014) [-]
If I do I can't remember. I wasn't much of a distance swimmer though so it's probably not great.

I loved relays because I got along really well with the people I was paired up with. We had one every meet and there were only a few guys on our team so we were together for pretty much the whole season. It does suck when you end up being the slowest person though.

Everyone just looks at you like

lol, yeah they do.

During the summer I would do a swim program that was run by another school. They were a public school and were top notch at sports in general. They even had one of the nicest pools in our district. I felt like a complete casual, but in the winter I went back to my schools filthy Catholic school peasant team.

noone in my year level at my school swims, so i kill in the school events. but then i get to regionals, and oh god why.
theres a swimming pool in my town i go to all year around, except for the school holidays when they close. then i have to travel like, half an hour to a pool open to the public. ew.
User avatar #35 to #34 - aerosol ONLINE (12/05/2014) [-]
My freshman year, our team hoodies said "When global warming floods the earth only the swimmers will survive".

But it seems like most people just don't give a **** about swimming .
