No that picture isn't of me or a boyfriend. But I would LOVE to have all sorts of tattoos like that! Once I figure out what I want.

I'm also kinda sorta obsessed with country music. Not trying to be one of those girls, but seriously, some songs describe some awesome stories.

and i didn't ask t obe in pain when i drank milk or had to eat something with dairy in it, i couldnt' cut out milk and cheese otherwise i never could have eatten at school, back then..ugg feeling old moment T_T, they didn't do the whole 'oh your allergic? lets get you something you can eat' or for that matter, a diffrent option like a sandwhich bar to make your own food. So minimum of one/two times a week i was in immense pain, and this was before any girls hit puberty let alone boys. I still suffer from this, albiet i'm more used to it, on my worse days it no longer feels like a knife, it feels like a dagger stabbing in my lower back, and slowly being twisted while being lifted up my back while its searing hot. I know pain, i've lived my entire life with it. And as isaid, or thought i said, i fully agree, if women's periods get that bad fine, but they shouldn't get paid time off for it. You know about when your going to be needing to leave, my sister always knew within a day or two when she'd start, and so you can defiantly plan ahead, but paid is ridiculous. I've missed work for lots of reasons, and never have i gotten paid leave for them. And those were great places to work, they were nice, offered lots of health care, but i didn't get paid to laze about all day, pain or not. I think the leave is a great idea, some women, most i've met, can be quite grouchy around that time, and over all, would fuck up the whole productivity at any job, so yeah let them go home, relax, try and get comfy, and ride it out. And when they feel better, come back to work. But paying them will only lead to women abusing it, fucking ove the male employee's and causing a load of bullshit. Because if we, to borrow your terminology, aren't having a pissing contest. By that rule, that means when guys have back pain, knee pain whatever. I have chronic back pain that flares up now and again, normally around 2 to three times a month, that means i should get time off for that to. If your going to give women time off for something like that, then its only fair to allow men something equal to it. And, if i'm not mistaken, and on this i could very much be, don't a lot of birth control pills now-a-days delay periods, allowing women to skip some?

I won't say that i understand completely, but when i was a kid i suffered from being allergic to milk, when it acted up it felt like a knife was being driven into my back along my spine and begin twisted, it hurt so bad i would scream in pain, pain killers did nothing, i couldn't move when this happened, and i still fucking was able to do shit. This happened AT LEAST one to two times a week. Now, everyone's pain tolerance is different, so to say its the same may not be right, but men get cramps, and we ache and hurt, i'm 6'8" and i don't know how a day without pain feels like for the past 6 years. That doesn't mean ima sit at home when my pain flairs up. If you've been in pain every time you've had periods, your used to it, and i can say this with 100% accuracy, if your in pain, even only once a month, and its bad. Your body WILL adapt, so no, i don't think its reasonable to assume that women should get paid days off. Allotted days off, fine. but not paid. Thats a slap in the face to every guy who's been injured, came back with an injury whatever. Women have sick-leave just like guys, and if they wanna allot them a few unpaid days for that time of the month, i'm all for it, but paid time off is an insult to the male employee's

Here's the thing, it's not like periods are the exact same thing every months. There are some months where we can be fully functioning and not even notice that we're on our periods, but then there are months that have us absolutely slammed in bed in so much pain that we can't even move. I've experienced both. Since you're a guy, you probably don't understand, but it's really not a pissing contest of who is in more pain. It's not like the law would be like "oh, you're on your period? Yes, take a week off and we'll pay you." I would say it's more of a sick/medical leave. Even just allowing a couple of extra paid sick days would be great because there are some killer periods out there. Like, I see where you're coming from, no one asks to be in pain constantly, but women don't ask to be crippled once a month from cramps.
