Lolwut? In Egypt there were millions of people marching in the streets. The country was literally shut down by protests.
The protests in America pale in comparison. Occupy Wallstreet was a couple hundred people camping out a park the size of a little league soccer field. New York has a population of 8 Million. Demonstration of that size is completely unremarkable. Considering how much media coverage it got, it's complete bullshit to say that it was "ignored".

The protesters that got national attention in our country had nothing too major to protest about (they couldn't even generate a coherent reason for protest in the first month and just kept saying "we are the 99%"). We have tons of rights and freedoms in America but the people in Egypt and Libya were legitimately oppressed by their governments.

Funny how Syria has the same shit and the U.S doesn't care now.

Only because of Russia. Putin (Russian president) supports the Syrian government, so the US is very apprehensive of attacking because we don't want to have to fight Russia too. Also the general public in the US doesn't want a war with Syria after we've seen what's happened in the Middle East.
