Or you know, help them make camps just outside of their homeland, carpet bomb the everliving fuck out of the assholes driving them out, then help them rebuild. Don't arm them, don't train them. Just give them an assload of tents, water, basic food and destroy the assholes taking their homes, then help them move back in.

Morning sickness, stretch marks, contractions, cravings, blinding pain, bleeding, weakness, dizziness, and in some cases, death (unless the child is surgically removed)
You call that accepting?
Even if you were right, and having a growing fetus inside you didn't have any of the same side effects as a parasite it does , it still matches the scientific definition of a parasite exactly.

"an organism that lives in or on another organism (its host) and benefits by deriving nutrients at the host's expense."

I'm not trying to be insensitive or edgy. Just trying to give you a perspective with morality removed from the equation. And when it is, biologically, the egg/fetus isn't only not human during the first trimester, it is a parasite.

The dna of the fetus isn't self replicating upon conception. It requires the host to do most of the work. It is, by definition, a parasite.

you cant call a human being a parasite. have you no decency.

It's not a human being at that point...what do you not understand about that?

Hardly a definition. The body is accepting and preparing the cells. When has it done that for a parasite?

Zygotes, embryos and fetuses are reliant on their host and uteral environment for survival and growth. Since you in theory can scoop out a couple of stem cells and use them to clone an identical twin of yourself, are those stem cells you have inside you individual humans as well? Any stem cell is as "self-replicating" and have as much of a "purpose of growing" as any prenatal organism.

Alternatively, if you cut off your thumb, it will survive on a cellular level for a decent amount of time, but would you consider it its own human while it's alive? If you put a fetus on the floor next to it, it's not going to live long either.

Well they are mine, so yes they are human. They most certainly not any other species.

I'm over here, waiting for my ride, and grinning fierce while reading this stuff. If both sides of a FJ argument have green thumbs it's a good sign that it's a better one.
