No, I said she ruins everything, especially in Injustice (an example, I have read plenty enough) and I understand her "conflict" with with might = right, I just couldn't care less. I cannot relate myself to her character in anyway, and I show no pity for her.

and you just about proved my point...

injustice is shit comic. it doesnt portray any of the heroes correctly, personality wise.

it also takes every chance it gets to shit on superpowered heroes.

It's an alternate universe with alternate events. Of course things are going to be different.
Batman wank? He's done practically nothing but coordinate the other heroes so far.
Batman being a hypocritical whiny bitch? Nothing new. He always has been.
How does one shit on Batman and still call it a wank? That's fucked up.
Penetrates all the dark places x 2 combo... a good thing.
Shitty artstyle... nope.
Shitty dialogue... maybe. I'll let that one pass. Then again, the issues are too short for good dialogue. It would be boring if people spent all that time talking.

It's fucking delicious.

and really now? batman is constantly portrayed as "in the right" and they are constantly shitting on just about every superpowered superhero at any chance they get. and batman is most aware of his own insanity out of any of the vigilantes and people in gotham. and you shit on a character you are wanking by being a shit writer.

penetrates all the dark places is props the best thing to come out of the comic series.

you should really read some of the batman one shots. usually they are 15 pages long, and they have infinitely better dialogue. even if its just batman alone monologuing to himself

I read the comics new 52 anyway and I'm not a fan of either. Most Superman stories I find kinda boring because of the way they present the character, and Wonder Woman recently with the exception of her own series which is admittedly good has more or less been reduced to female superman. Also the way wonder woman acts in most series is almost ridiculous, she doesn't have any control of her emotions half the time, and the other half shes just angry. Even supergirl who is portrayed as a twit half the time I find at least more interesting
User avatar
#111 - angelious (07/12/2015) [-]
yeah..n52 hasnt been too good for wonderwoman...or any female superheroes.

as for superman; you should read all star superman, superman year one, superman doomsday.

these are some of the best superman comics i know off. outside of that.i respect your opinion and i see that it is validly made instead of just hating on something you know nothing about. i can also see your side of things and thus i have no reason to argue about this. i hope that you give him a chance and read the comics i provided. but if you so choose not to, then i will be at peace with your decision.

dont get me wrong. his work on daredevil made the character what it is..but his handling of just about any other character has been disasterous at best..not to mention making one of the worst comic book in history of comic books(all star batman)

grant morrison...even at his weirdest he makes stuff like arkham, serious house on serious earth. which is pretty great if you like symbolism and wonky ass unique artstyle. and grant alongside moore just about started and perfected the dark age of comic books.

If yer gonna take yer only opinion about WW from friggin' Injustice, you might as well only take opinions of Batman from comics by Frank Miller. WW in both the Justice League comics and also standalone comics have shown herself to be a conflicted character, one who must listen to her warrior roots of might equals right, and also one of compassion and giving that the Justice League has taught her. Read some more older stuff with WW in it and you can see that she is as developed as any other character, notably Justice by Jim Kreuger and Alex Ross really show off a softer side of WW and also a more mature version that Injustice.
#79 - anon (07/12/2015) [-]
In every animated movie she's a bit of a dick imho. No story, no background, nothing interesting about her. Even her story how she became WW is fkin boring.

She quite literally ruins nearly everything (Superman included) and has little to no character progression other than "I am a warrior woman" and I honestly find her extremely annoying (especially with the Injustice comics currently going on right now). I do not mind female characters, and I do not mind strong independent female characters. But I loath Wonder Woman. There are better, far more interesting characters (female ones at that) out there.
