Honestly, from what I've seen of how Police dogs are trained and do their duty, I'd much rather be shot by one of the cops than have them bring in the dogs on me.
Those things are fucking brutal

R means you have to be with your parents now
Rather than just not allowed at all, apparently.

that's kinda the point he was making
that and some stupid people that for some reason can't understand why this "super hero" movie isn't a typical kids/family movie

I thought the r rating was 16-17+? Or was that changed and I never paid attention.
Oh well let the kids watch it's not like it's gonna effect whether or not they turn into well adjusted adults. I mean I watched my first r rated movie when I was 13 my parents really didn't seem to mind on that part.

The law is you can buy ONE ticket if you're 17 but multiple if you're 18+.

Personally, I find that its up to the individual kid to determine what they're able to handle. If you are okay with your child seeing a film like Dealpool then props to you. I'd probably be okay with it too. Just understand that the film is rater R for a reason, and if you regret having you child see the movie then its your own fault. You should have inquired more about the movie and informed yourself before actually letting them see the movie. That's alright too, parents make mistakes as often as everyone else.

What isn't okay, on the other hand, is blaming your mistake of allowing your child to see an R rated film on somebody else. As a parent you need to grow as a person and understand that you are capable of raising your child the wrong way and making frequent mistakes. I can't name a person I have ever met who could say (honestly) that their parents have never made a mistake raising them. That being said, if you allow your child to see an R rated film and you regret doing so (not that you even necessarily will, just if you do). Then you need to understand that you, as a parent, made a mistake, and ensure that you keep yourself informed the next time you make a decision of allowance to your child as to whether or not they are allowed to view something that may potentially be inappropriate.

It isn't the movies fault for being offensive.
It isn't the Theater's fault for playing the movie.
It isn't the studios fault for making the movie.

Its the parents fault for making the mistake of allowing a child who is not yet exposed to the harsh aspects of the world being displayed in the film see it in the first place.

Its not okay to assume that just because a baby came out of your vagina (or your penis for those of you who've got the less difficult route) you are now automatically the ultimate, fit, and fully equipped parent and you always make the best decision for your child no matter what, and if things go wrong its because of somebody's involvement or tampering with your perfect parenthood.

Good parents always make decisions for their child's best interest, and make the best decisions they CAN and do see fit.

Good parents NEVER ALWAYS make the best decisions for their child. They just try their best.
