Minimalism is the future. A shitty, bleak future, sobeit, but still a future.
It's a shame that 70s and 80s style can't come back.

"Minimalist" games piss me off.
It's the most obnoxious excuse for laziness and low budget with an unfairly high profit margin
User avatar #143 - Greevon (05/17/2015) [-]
some can do it right. the minimalist style is fine so long as it's not just used as an excuse to slack.

He's a perfectly polite human being. Outside of the kitchen. Inside of the kitchen he wants it done his way and he wants it done right. He really is there to help.
#71 - okamibanshu (05/17/2015) [-]
so? because he can help, he can be an ass? Master chef is th eonly one i like watching him on. he gets pissed, he gets mad, but he's at least somewhat respectful and doesn't tear into someone. i'm sorry, but i bet even chef ramsy is still learning new tricks of the trade as they come out. and i garuntee he screws up still. it happens, but when it does, he's like 'holy shit ow can you fuck that up so badly, you've cooked on this brand new grill one time, how the fuck can you screw something up so bad because you had no idea what you were doign with something you've never touched before! my gosh you should butcher teh food before you give it to the customer, didn't' you know that? You have to tear it apart to make sure its ok first!' he's a jackass. the food he serves, i'd be pissed to get. "Waiter, why's my food ripped to shreds" "oh the chef had to check that its cooked'" ><
User avatar #74 - hydraetis (05/17/2015) [-]
He's only an ass when the person he's talking to is being an ass eg: by not listening to him .

If you actually paid attention to his shows like Kitchen Nightmares, you'd realise that.
#75 - okamibanshu (05/17/2015) [-]
o.O your kidding right? I saw one guy, got pissed because of circumstances. If he'd been a girl, ramsy would have been mean yeah, but wouldnt' have out right screamed in his face. I mean come on, its a dude who's mad, yelling at him, is NOT how you calm him down. Ramsy is such an idiot on so many of his shows. Like i said, Master Chef and Master Chef kids edition are the only ones he seems to be likeable on for me. In Hells kitchen, its obvious he prefers the women team, and he's a total ass during the show. The only good point of that, is that while he does tend to side towards the women, he at least yells at both fairly when they screw up.
User avatar #76 - hydraetis (05/17/2015) [-]
Funny, nowhere in that did you say anything about him flipping shit when the person hasn't given him a reason too.

My point still stands.
#77 - okamibanshu (05/17/2015) [-]
ok, lets use hells kitchen as an example, didn't like the kitchen nightmares *shivers* disgusting show with some of those places ew, dunno how they even stayed in buisness. But anywho, one i was watching, this guy was cooking, and pulled a set because it had burned, and set it aside, didnt' have time to deal with it. But completly by accident, grabbed it to bring up when asked, just one of those 'oh duh' moments, and ramsy reamed into the dude. Its like, chill out. It was an accident. The guy was completely respectful, even though its ramsy's fault. You know how a normal kitchen works? By not yelling at people, they can be relaxed, within reason, i mean they still got lots of food to cook, and do what needs to be done. I feel like if chef ramsy wasn't standing there going 'fuck you fuck you fuck this, this is raw, fuck you fuck you, that is raw, fuck you' that they would cook a lot better. And why is it, that no matter who comes onto hells kitchen, their some sort of sailor talking jackass to >< ugg.

That's entirely possible. If that's the case they did it for both me and my sibling. Someone else mentioned the local government could have done it automatically. It could also be since I was registered for the ROTC at that age, that it automatically sufficed.

I went to a magnet high school. No such forms were given. I have a meticulous habit of reading everything I sign, too. No need to be so rude.
User avatar #52 - sherlockbatman (05/15/2015) [-]
then your parents probably just signed your forms for you and mailed them in.
if you're really in some bureaucratic oversight, you should take care of it. the law puts responsibility for signing up for the draft on you, not the government. if they forgot to send you a form, the pressure's on you to go to the DMV and get it. it's illegal to be over 18 and not registered for the draft.
I'm guessing your parents just forged your signature though, because when you don't sign up, they usually just send the sheriff to your house with the forms.

You guys are dumbasses. He's saying that the guy didn't get out of the ticket because it was funny, he got out of it because he had his license on him. Whereas if he didn't have the nessessay things that the cop required when he pulled you over then he would have had to do more work and this increasing the chance of getting a ticket.

Kinda like if you only have ride costumers and then you have somone who's polite, your more likely to be nice to him

More likely that he forgot a word in his sentence. I know lots of people who talk/type like that when not proofreading, etc.

He's missing a "not" somewhere or saying "didn't get out of"

Still, the more reasonable explanation is that he typed quickly or typed something with a different sentence structure and then when editing to the current structure made a mistake.
#9 - sherlockbatman (05/15/2015) [-]
nah, the explanation that makes the most sense is that he doesn't know how to read and completely misunderstood what the picture was saying.
what he says would make sense if he thought the kid got a ticket and blamed it on his photo. he thinks that the kid thinks that his picture caused the ticket. this guy is correcting him saying it was the offense, not the picture, that got him the ticket.
it wasn't a typo, it was a mistake in reading comprehension.

He means that the guy may have been pulled over for a very minor infraction, or for an infraction which cannot be ticketed on the first offense but may be given a warning, after several of which said offense CAN be ticketed, etc.
#6 - sherlockbatman (05/15/2015) [-]

when REALLY, he got out of a ticket because his picture was funny
