well that's a damn lot more sensible that what i took from your comment.
i'm sorry for being so aggro earlier, i'm readjusting from an unrelated diet maintaining vegetarian ketosis is harder than maintaining veganism. long story short switching between glycolysis and ketosis is as hard to predict emotionally as a period, thank gok don't have to deal with that right now and i cannot express how sorry i am for over reacting
i know the animals better for B12 thing because it works under the same principal as mercury poisoning fishing water the bottom of the food chain aren't going to be affected as much as the top due to build-up , but due to the nature of bacteria, even yeast, they simple don't have a brain or nervous system that we can call sentient or sapient by any measure and treating them as alive would mean every time you washed your hands, you'd literally be worse than hitler.
i r8 you 8/8 m8 for your calm and collected response to my nerve-racked half-crazy fucked up hormones.
again sorry and thank you for being such a calm and kind person. i will try to be more conscious of my emotions and try to be more balanced. i'm generally not that bad.

No worries. I try to approach everything with that calm demeanor, probably because I'm emotionally calloused to the point that they are mostly deadened. Good luck with the Ketosis. Which I am now going to go look up.

"Study Shows Older People With Vitamin B12 Deficiency Had Lower Scores on Memory Tests"

After going through the webmd article I found that it's not so much that it causes your brain to shrink as it mildly increases the rate at which your brain naturally shrinks with old age.

Oh also vitamin b12 is important for regular brain functions but I don't think a lack thereof would cause your brain to shrink. Sound's like an old wives tale to get kids to eat parts of their dinner.
#178 - shadowvision (04/18/2015) [-]
WebMD says it might cause it, wikipedia has nothing on it, and I've been able to find nothing that says it doesn't happen. If it does happen, it's a very long term consequence.

hold the fuck up, mate; B12 does not come from meat.
"Neither fungi, plants, nor animals are capable of producing vitamin B12. Only bacteria and archaea have the enzymes required for its synthesis, although many foods are a natural source of B12 because of bacterial symbiosis. The vitamin is the largest and most structurally complicated vitamin and can be produced industrially only through bacterial fermentation-synthesis."
-WIKI MOTHER FUCKING PEDIA.
am i angry? yes! is it because 'muh veganism',? no! as a matter of fact i'm a vegetarian. i had gone from meat eater to vegan in the past so i could understand the troubles they go through. and in my time as a vegan, when i found out a classic favourite of mine was suitable, i ate it until i hated it.
i am angry because of fucking retards who spout mindless bullshit without 5 fucking seconds of research. ONE FUCKING WEBSITE, MOTHERFUCKER.
People who spout nonsense against vegans without research are just as bad as feminists and politicians.
you have the entire fucking internet at your fingertips, so big in fact that at any given point, it weighs about that of a large strawberry by electron count alone and an electron's relative atomic mass is 0.054% that of a neutron.
with the internet, you could master many great thinks, discover new things, 'explore' the world, learn to play musical instruments, compose music, play games, talk to people on the other side of the fucking planet with a bare few seconds of lag and even fall in love, fall into hatred and become a fucking genius.
and you use it to be a dick. congratulations.

Fair enough, I worded what I had said poorly to begin with. That's kinda how a joke works.

You are categorically wrong in your first statement. B12 does come from meat. It's not produced by animals, but it is in animals.

Animal products and by products are the best place to get b12.
www.healthaliciousness.com/articles/foods-high-in-vitamin-B12.php
Top 10 foods with b12, all but two are animal products.

As for my "Organic" vegan b12 statement, it could be argued that using bacteria, (I think it's yeast actually) isn't exactly vegan, given that it's alive.

I have done the research, it's not nonsense, it's opinion based in observation.

So why does it need to be organic? you realize there's no effective difference right? That probably makes the vegan organic try hards really salty

O5-1: Upon reviewing your testimony and available footage, and the confession of the late Dr. Oleksei, it is the unanimous agreement of the O5 that you are to be terminated, for your part in the gross breach of SCP-096-

Dr. Dan: And I thought you would know the meaning of “For the greater good.”

O5-1: Do not try my patience, doctor. Given the incident’s scope and potential, the O5 have approved your request for the termination of SCP-096. Given the lack of personnel with understanding of SCP-096, the termination will be entrusted to you, under heavy guard and the personal supervision of me. Your own termination will be scheduled at a later date.

< End log>

“That is horrible, doctor. How could you knowingly-”

“It worked. There was only a matter of time until that happened in a major population center, and its face spread over the world news. I can kill 096, but I’ve killed myself in the process.”

I dunno if they actually ended up killing it, but apparently it will end up dead soon enough or something

they gave dr.dan an ultimatum of killing it, afterwards they would kill him.

plus i think its still listed as active.

Dr. ███ has also petitioned for immediate termination of SCP-096 (see Interview 096-1). Order is awaiting approval. Termination order has been approved, and is to be carried out by Dr. ███ on [DATA REDACTED]. See Incident-096-1-A.
