I like Marine Tanks but I have three problems with them

1. They always look dirty as fuck because of the organic buildup from the corals
2. Expensive as fuck.
3. Finicky as fuck

Other than that though, they're great. But I'm content with my tropical fish. My favourite are Anabantoids I.E Gouramis, Paradise Fish and Bettas

my mom always loved Gouramis, but they seem to get sick really easy.

My only issues with Gouramis is that when you've got less than three, the bigger one starts to pick on the smaller one and eventually kills it. I've currently got an Adult Three Spot Gourami with four Red Honey Gouramis and he seems to love them to bits. Follows them around, protects them from the Male Molly (who is kind of a dickhead) and lets them eat first.

I used to have a clown loach that was hilarious. Always slept on his side like this. he'd actually walk on his fins rather than swim, and even surprise-hug other fish. He also liked to be petted.

Yeah its a real shame when you are limited like that. Small tanks can still look good though.

Nice. Definitely research the fish you want to get before you do as it can all go tits up!

I've never really gotten into Tetras, I'm more of a livebearer and catfish kind of guy. Main problem is I live far away from a petshop so if I need supplies to buffer/lower my water Ph, I run into problems. So I rather stay away from fish that like lower Ph's.

Yay, FishFags! I got given a +- 350L tank for free and it's currently running a DIY UGF/Trickle Filter and a shitty canister filter. Water is clean as fuck, but I get a lot of mulm buildup. And I just bought my first tank (I have four now but three were given to me) so I'm in the beginning stages of MTS.

Honestly at this stage I would like to split my fish up between the three smaller tanks because, but I doubt you're anywhere near me

Scandanavian countries are pretty expensive!
Every decent music store should have them though.
I invested in custom made ones... expensive but since I'm musically active it's WELL worth the money.

Hnnnggg, stand in the middle near the sound engineer, he's mixing it so you get the best sound there. Also, that way you won't hear more of a certain instrument (atleast not more than you would hear otherwise). But I can understand why people want to stand at the front.

If you don't invest in $20 earplugs, you're only fucking with yourself really.
The filters in those things filter out alot of overtones, making the sound alot more clear.
I've seen alot of metal bands live, and the louder the band, the less you actually hear of the music because it just becomes one gaint distorted blur.

If you're into that kind of stuff, and damaging your hearing permantly (this isn't like a mosh pit, bruises heal) go ahead, but don't claim you like ''music'', because that shit has nothing to do with music.

Source; I'm a drummer, and considered myself a metalhead (until I realised ''metalheads'' apparently only wear black shirt, listen to thrash metal and voluntarily destroy their hearing).

I agree, but as i said, the music is often destroyed, but i most often stand close to the sound tower for the best experience of the music. and i have yet to find any good earplugs
