Do not use calcium sand. They cant digest it if they miss a cricket and get a mouth of sand, and its really bad for them.

It was fine for him. He had a fat tail which usually shows a healthy body.
Thats good too. just be careful with bits that may be a bit larger like small wood chips and things. The gecko might sometimes accidentally swallow those but they can't digest them so it just gets stuck in their throat :/

Right, I'm going to be sure to break it down. I'm just a bit paranoid, because my last gecko used sand and if I recall correctly it only lasted a couple months. That's also largely to do with the person that sold it to me didn't give me any of this information, and that I was young, inexperienced, and non-internet savvy.
