Except that that doesnt matter. One way or another, people are showing that they massively disagree, what with the -38 thumbs. I would say that more or less ends the arguement.

Yes, but stopping and saying something through an online website doesnt give you an identity. Literally nothing is know about you other than what you say, so saying something so utterly meaningless that can be expressed in other ways wastes everyones time and annoys them. This is, once again, evident in the -38 thumbs. This isnt the first time I've said this, either. If this is just going to go around and around, I'm just going to say fuck it and go eat.

User avatar

Alright, this is my last reply, since you are going to just beat that drum until the cows come home. I'm hungry, and you're thick. Being judged doesnt make it personal because the people that are doing the judging are not judging you, they are judging the comment. Any opinion they have is based solely on the comment you leave, and as such, is wholly devoid of any kind of personal understanding. In essence, they dont know anything about you other than that comment, so when they respond to it, it has very little to do with you, personally. They would respond in a very different way if it was actually personal.
User avatar
#54 - schindewolforch (08/23/2015) [-]
sex doesn't need to be personal, just hire a prostitute and have her suck you off, having a personal relationship with whom you're having sex with doesn't add any value.

That's how you sound. Human interactions mean more when they have personal touches to them, and adding a comment saying "I agree" has more of an emotional impact than giving a counter a higher number.

If you play games ect, The windows defender that comes with it, Which you can't turn off, Saps the Shit out of you computer. Plus it's auto-updates will fuck games up royally at some points. Made a few of my games, Gotten through steam, Completely unplayable until I went back to the old OS.

I've never had windows defender do anything bad for me. You can turn it off, it just isn't uninstallable. It's programmed to run when you aren't using the computer. You can delay updates.
User avatar

It'll auto turn back on, it even states that, and there's no way to make sure it'll turn back off. As well as whenever I tried to run certain games. Tera being one, windows defender would start taking up most of my CPU ability, and it wasn't just on my computer that it was doing it too.

If he wants to share his opinion of the comment, he can thumb it up or down. That is the reason that exists. Leaving a comment stating you agree with another comment is pointless; it contributes nothing, adds no value or humor, and is generally just annoying. As such, we punish those that do this by disagreeing with them openly, AKA red thumbs.
#52 - schindewolforch (08/23/2015) [-]
it adds no value? I totally does. Thumbs are an abstract representation of an opinion that is agreeable to many people. Some one personally logging in and leaving a comment is more personal because some one, who has an identity, agress with you.
