I literally cannot fathom what use anyone could have for a smartwatch.
Like, is it really too much effort to reach into your fucking pocket and pull out your phone, that you'd rather read an email on a 1 inch wide screen.

How about, instead of wasting your money like a dick head, have your parents buy you a Swiss Made wristwatch, that you will keep for the rest of your life.
Bonus points, you'll look like a real adult, and not a moron.

Wow you're a thick motherfucker, ain't you ?

If you read anything that's been said in this 4-post long thread, you'd have understood that my parents, and my brother, thought about getting me one, by themselves.
I did not suggest that to them, and since, as I said, I have little to no clue what a smartwatch would really bring to my everyday life much like you but in a clearly much more open-minded way , I thought I'd ask my fellow tech lovers here before.

Now please go sip a cup of tea and calm the fuck down.

And I am telling youwhat a smartwatch would bring to your life; jack shit.

They are useless fucking gimicks, sold to morons you blindly buy into hype. Props to you for actually conducting some research.

My advice to you would be to go to your parents, and say 'Thank you for the offer, but I shan't have much use for a smart watch. Perchance a nice Swiss watch instead?'

You still sound a bit angry, did something happen to you recently ? Someone keyed your car ?
I might consider your opinion while continuing my research, but other than that I don't think you brought anything of value to the conversation.
Thanks anyway.

Well unfortunately my experience is that when you get an iphone you just get products focused on the iphone specifically. Personally I don't think smartwatches have matured enough.

The short battery life of current smartwatches puts me off of them but I'd say my top 3 right now are as such.

1. Asus zenwatch 2. it's got killer looks competetive pricing and 2 sizes.
2.pebble steel/ time steel/ time round. much longer battery life than others and the display should be much easier to see at a glance (especially outdoors).
3. apple watch. You will get noticed, it is as much a smartwatch as it is a fashion accessory, and it will probably have better and longer software support.

But really you should get a seiko g757 sport 100 just because it's so damn cool and will probably go up in value.

The ZenWatch 2 may be my pick but Android Wear still seems to have a long way to go in terms of iOS compatibility.. But it looks like the only solution to that is to get a fucking $350+ Apple Watch..

Are there other native iOS compatible watches out there ?

I found something called mailbird for now.
If i'm not happy with it i'll try the windows 10 mail app.
So far mailbird is pretty annoying since it's going through 20000 emails and giving me notifications for ones that i haven't read. Literally getting notifications for emails i received in 2010.
#47936 - fcrocker (03/29/2016) [-]
Use the native mail app dude, it's a much more simple and fluid experience.

You mean the default mail app on windows?
Design/UI wise it's almost 1:1 with mailbird.

I'm not using that computer currently just my laptop right now.

Is the one you recommended to me such a cpu?
User avatar
#47892 - rzkruspe (03/28/2016) [-]
I did not recommend one specific chip, I said you need an i5 or i7 of the 2nd generation named 2xxx , preferably without a T, S, or K.

Any of them will do, except for the 2390T which has 2 cores, I don't know what's up with this one.
