so call your ISP and complain, they usually will send you a replacement router, and I get that, however I've lost hour long job applications because my internet cut out, in this day and age, a reliable connection to the internet is extremely important, not the most important thing, but it's up there

alright, the whole manual labor thing I know, you ever had your leg bend sideways? no? I have, not only can I hardly move some days, it fucked up my walk so I have problems from my ankle all the way up my back, and I work construction as my main breadwinner, I shouldn't lift more than 10lbs, so I understand

and you should realize that something not being reliable means it isn't working right and needs fixing

also updating firmware on your hardware is regular maintenance

alright, the reason is that I am an IT technician who is sick of people complaining about their shit not working and doing nothing to fix it or maintain it, as well as the fact that you can go spend an hour doing manual labor for somebody and get $10-20 for it, hell my 8 year old brother does that and saved up about $1000 to buy his own damn laptop so he could play games on the thing

okay, you don't understand circumstance in the least of anyone who isn't in your position. I'm not complaining anything doesn't work. I stated, my networking card is shit along with my firmware and I use torrents to download because it's more reliable for me. just because someone does something differently than you doesn't mean they need to change. just because it is a torrent doesn't make it illegal. and just cause I don't care to replace my network card doesn't mean I don't maintain my equipment. I had a major back injury 2 months after I turned 17 and I struggle to work my full 40 hours at my job still 3 years later. manual labor outside of work isn't an actual option for me, when work it's self is barely so. and don't tell me to get an easier comfy office job, because I love the work I am doing
