It has an option for using a hopper and sorter so that you can just dump bricks into it and it'll automatically put them down in a pattern. You can also do it by hand if it's a complex pattern that needs certain bricks placed in specific places, like on sides or edges.

You wanted to know what that machine did so I told you. 'Brick layers' use a machine that lays the bricks FOR them. They are not putting the bricks on the ground, the machine is. They just arrange them and then they are laid down by the machine. You can say the 'brick layers' are, by proxy, laying those bricks but that's fucking meta shit I don't want to get into.

Just to be clear with you, the machine is putting the bricks on the ground, thereby laying the bricks.

The machine is laying the bricks.

I never said I wanted to know what the machine did, and if you don't want to argue the "meta shit" as you put it, then don't. A shovel does not dig the ground, it is a tool to be used to dig the ground by a person. If the machine doesn't do it automatically, it isn't laying the bricks.

I saw all three men bending over in the video while inserting the last few bricks to get bricks to insert. It just changes the problem from one of loose position brick laying to knee & back pain tight vertical brick grabbing and someone still has to resupply the bricks to the guys on the machine.

Only real bonus is a limitation on knee damage.
