To give you an even clearer example of your retardation, there have been 5 fatal domestic terrorist attacks in the United States during the 21st century. 3 of those (totaling 69 fatalities) were committed by Muslims (.8% of the U.S. population) while 2 of those (totaling 15 fatalities) were committed by the other 99.2% of the U.S. population. Keep in mind, those two are the only notable terror attacks committed by non-Muslims within the last twenty years.

In November 2014, one month, there were 664 attacks totaling 5,042 fatalities committed by Middle Eastern Muslims. www.bbc.com/news/world-30080914

The Muslim population of the Middle East is almost equal to the population of the U.S. So, with roughly equivalent populations, Muslims outdid 20 years of non-Muslim domestic terror attacks 337 times over in the span of one month.

Not true at all, and the two deadliest Christian terror attacks in the U.S. combined resulted in a whopping 5 fatalities, or roughly 1/600th of the nearly 3000 killed on September 11th. There were 394 American deaths in the various Beirut bombings, 13 at Fort Hood, 14 in San Bernadino, 50 in Orlando, etc. etc. and that's just scratching the surface.

Got proof?

>Christianity causing more destruction than any other ideology on American Soil
>America has only been around a relatively short time
>For the vast majority of this relatively short time even up to the present day, nearly everyone was christian

I bet, in Japan, most criminals happen to be of Japanese descent too, bucko.

Oh, suddenly the majority religion by region is relevant.
User avatar
#58 - captainfuckitall (05/22/2016) [-]
It's relevant because of COURSE the 99% majority for most of the years of its existence is going to have committed the most terrorist acts, you idiot.

Well, Christians have caused a number of terror attacks, for example look at where I live, Northern Ireland. There's been loads of terrorist attacks here.

Well yes, but very few of them did it FOR their religion, The Troubles was over political disputes.

A "Christian Terrorist Attack" doesn't happen because the perp just happens to be Christian, just like it's not a "Right-Wing-Terrorist Act" because the perp happens to be right-wing, it is so BECAUSE they did it FOR those reasons.

I am right wing.

If I murder someone for being an asshole, I'm a murderer and added to that statistic.
If I murder someone BECAUSE I am right-wing in some type of politically charged crime, THEN I could be grouped as a 'right-wing-extremist', you see?

I understand what you're getting at but it's very close in terms of what happened, because the IRA wanted Northern Ireland to be a part of the republic of Ireland to form what was originally Eire.

The terrorist groups that belong to Islam generally have wanted to free their national states from the control of the western world and return things to how they were before various militaries got involved.

Both groups were in the wrong, have killed thousands of people for their agenda, the most of which might have had an opinion on it but were innocent in terms of their power to influence the situation indeed, both groups kill their own people to try and prove a point. It's ugly and abhorrent practices that really tear my faith of humanity.

In conclusion, I'd say that it's not ever just because of religion or politics, why someone chooses to join a terrorist group is up to that person and these groups have many methods of recruitment.

You are indeed correct, but the difference I am making is that IRA didn't do what they did BECAUSE of religion, they did it BECAUSE of Politics, which makes them a different branch of terrorist, while many Muslim Extremists do so FOR religious reasons that happen to tie into politics BECAUSE the Middle East is predominantly theocratic, that is, their religion and religious figures are directly tied into the government.
