Don't know, man. Korra just feels so rushed all the time and I get confused and lost, so I have to rewatch 2-3 episodes back just to know what the fuck is going on. Like, they could have done so much more with Amon. It could've topped some major plots from LoA if they just didn't rush the whole season.

Remember, at the time when they made season 1, they had no idea they were going to have 4 seasons.
They only thought they were doing one and by the time they knew they were doing 4 seasons, the first one was almost over

I had no idea. Well, then it makes more sense.

He's the most polite villain I have ever seen.

Zaheer mastered the element of air instantly, which in my opinion could've been more displayed as a gradual learning curve. Sure he had studied air bending and all of the backgrounds, but to beat every skilled bender (1vs1 definetly) there is without practice? But besides that hes awesome yeah

You have to remember that Zaheer and his group were going to kidnap Korra and teach her as her four masters of the elements. He had mastered all the movements and techniques of airbenders, and knew their histories in and out before he ever got airbending. So technically, he was a master of the art before he ever got it.

So he trained to be an air nomad

what if he was a master air bender, and they wanted to train korra in all 4 elements, but aang took his bending away.
so because of the harmonic convergence he got his bending back?

Incredibly unlikely, due to the fact that the only air benders in existence up until harmonic convergence were Aang and his family, and if he were part of the family, Kya would have been able to recognize him immediately when he infiltrated the air bender island.

It's like the other guy said, he basically trained to be an air nomad, just without their bending abilities. The only difference between Zaheer and air nomads is that he uses air bending to its full lethality.

It is said that he also could beat skilled benders even without air bending. Seeing as he would be the type of man that would train his body, mind and skills to be at peak at all times, makes it very plausible that he would master air bending almost instantly.

Two gripes I have, saying this as a DCfag that watched MoS about 5 times:
1. Too many fucking characters. The desperation of trying to catch up to Marvel is making me cringe... in all honesty, having, arguably, the two most known comic book heroes in one movie is more than enough to fill the seats. If Captain America will make more in the first week, I'll be thoroughly disappointed.
2. The casting... it looks pretty bad, but, just like I should have done with Michael Keaton and Heath Ledger, I'll save making an opinion until after I see it.

That's what I mean, people are being to negative about the cast. I can understand that people have doubts, but not many people seem to give them a chance. Like you I'm just going to wait and see and hope for the best.

And I enjoyed MoS. I admit I don't know that much about Superman so maybe my ignorance about the comics keeps me from seeing it's flaws, but as I said before, it's really difficult to make all comic fans happy, so I get the directors go for an approach that appeals to non comic readers in order to attract more people.
