Season 2 was weak, but I think that Avatar Wan's story was the best thing in LoK, period.

"Just gonna fucking steal some goddamn fire bending from the Lion Turtle so I can finally steal from those rich assholes who live on top of a mountain.
Shit now I'm banished into the Spirit Wilds."

Can't really say I cared deeply about Korra's development, but the history of the Avatar universe? Fuck yeah.

Exactly.

In general, I agree, with Season 3 as an exception. TLA had on average around 20 episodes per season, meanwhile LoK had about 12-14 per season. That's 8-6 episodes worth of content just taken out. If they had those extra episodes, then LoK definitely could have been just as good, if not better than TLA.

On the subject of the fight scenes, I feel like LoK did worse in general, but there were some REALLY epic fights that blew TLA out of the water, one of those being the S3 final fight between The Red Lotus and the Korra gang. Also, you're ignoring the rest of that fight between Tenzin and Zaheer and how fucking awesome it was.

I tend to judge shows based on character development and scenes that make me go "HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK". While TLA had more development(again, due to more episodes), LoK had more HOLY SHIT moments than TLA, or at least as far as I can remember.

There's many moments like that over comics and shows and shit. Always makes you wonder about what's really going on in his head. Like in the Killing Joke where he tries to convince the Joker to get help.

**karvarausku used "*roll picture*"**
**karvarausku rolled image** out of curiosity. Luffy is rubber man... His heart is rubber.. So if you would transplant his heart...

Would the newly attached heart turn into rubber or what?
User avatar
#26 - kurtlanglie (12/17/2014) [-]
I would assume that the unique properties that a devil fruit bestows upon the eater would cause a significant degree of rejection in the transplanted host, and vice versa on another heart on Luffy. If Luffy died from the procedure, the heart would theoretically return to its normal state and therefore surrender any power it has.

User avatar
#14 - languagexplain (12/17/2014) [-]
It's not that superman couldn't move the planet, it's that that wouldn't really solve anything and bring a whole new set of problems with it.
User avatar
#18 - angelious (12/17/2014) [-]
also im pretty sure he would end up killing everybody on earth by forcibly moving earth...

seriously its like superman forgot how to smarts that day
User avatar

he had green lantern encase the planet in an energy thing to protect everyone, he could just do it again.
#30 - anon (12/17/2014) [-]
Superman has an energy aura that he can extend around objects, thus allowing him to move gigantic things like the earth instead of simply punching a man-sized hole in them.
You should watch Death Battle: Goku vs Superman. Some of the stuff in there is surprisingly useful to know.
User avatar
#31 - angelious (12/17/2014) [-]
death battle is not credible source of information

and the "aura" is no longer valid.

im not sure if it was ever valid outside of all star superman? nowadays they actually give more repercussions for superman lifting heavy objects that should normally break under the strain.

Justice League, and Superman/Batman are the two series where Batman smiles with Clark, and the others! If you';re looking for something like that, then there is where you should look!

The combat is more in line with two, and the overall stories are absolutely wonderful. I wouldn't say it has as much main story content as Origins, but if you like running around and doing stuff in the EXTREMELY LARGE PLAYABLE AREAS you'll love it.

#16 - redblueyellow (12/10/2014) [-]
Nice, that's precisely what I want. Free-roaming. That bothered me the most about Origins, the fact that it wasn't completely free roam. I saw some gameplay of Inquisition yesterday, and I saw you are able to jump. That made me so happy.
