Why did they think it was a good idea to add the the new Ghostbusters to this? It was recognizably considered to be a terrible movie with the exception of femenazis.

You get that that is the same as "triggered" right?
User avatar
#48 - mcassio (06/30/2016) [-]
No, it's not. Triggered refers to something you dont like causing a total mental breakdown. It is a term that has been abused by SJW dumb-asses to the point of having basically no meaning. Hypno Toad was expressing dissatisfaction with the fact that something was included. The two are very different.

so that is what I did, and the portal pack will unlock a portal mini-story, and a free-roam lego portal world. I would say that the portal pack is definitely worth it, especially since they incorporate everything into it.

To be fair I'm ONLY in Special Ed because of my Insomnia.

And Special Ed is the only way they can accommodate Insomnia

no it isn't
I had insomnia all through high school. I'd often go days on end with zero sleep, just occasionally blanking out of consciousness for like 10 solid seconds of microsleep
it was fine, I didn't cry for a special naptime-allowed class, you faggot
just sleep in class and ace all the tests. study on your own, anything before college isn't challenging anyways unless you're in Double AP Multivariate Chemical Physics in Advanced Mandarin
fuck the homework unless it's a project
literally all the busywork: fuck it, skip it, sleep instead

in college, insomnia counts as a disability, so you get permission to skip class and show up late because you were sleeping or whatever
there's no reason to join the special ed class, you fucked yourself. that shit stays with you, everyone's gonna see that you're a special retard now in every background check because the high school has to tell the college that you were in the special needs class, but they don't explain why. your student records just say "special ed grad" and they baby you accordingly. you better hope your college degree doesn't have a "Special" asterisk on it too
sleep is for the weak faggot, get off Xbone Live and go to bed earlier if you're so sleepy, you toddler
should'a not been a bitch and had some coffee
#27 - anon (06/28/2016) [-]
tfw a college admissions guy says not to do homework if you're acing tests
tfw homework was always 30% of grade
tfw not accepted to college due to 2.0 gpa

hurts man

projects and group work is included in the homework percentage.
high school classes are required to have at least 1 or 2 projects per semester and group work projects are so strongly encouraged I'm honestly shocked they don't send people to train teachers on proper group work techniques yet. they send trainers for fucking schafer format writing, you'd think they'd want to help with a useful point too.
busywork should not be more than 10-15% of your grade. if it seems like way too much, talk to your teacher.
teachers don't like grading your duplicate cookie-cutter worksheets.
most teachers I've met are more than willing to work out a plan with you to focus on your actual learning and proving you understand the material instead of the time-wasting stuff
literally tell them "I don't get much sleep and it's really messing me up. is there any way I can skip some of the homework, you give a lot of it and I feel like I get the work after like a handful of problems. If I do well on the tests, do you think I can get a break on some of the homework?" this actually shows you're smarter than the average student and any good teacher who isn't burnt way out should be happy to work with you.
if they say no, take it to the office. talk to a counselor and anyone in administration.

also, don't transfer into university in america directly from high school.
go to community college to do your general ed. you have to do the exact same work at university for 10X the cost. plus, admissions only considers your most recent GPA, so you could just barely pass high school, do really well in community college, and have a 4.0 to transfer to a 4-year, AND a college level high GPA is more valuable than a high school GPA to the admissions board. adults get into college before high school kids.

Yes, yes insomnia is certainly a good reason to send you into special ed.

If you really believe this shit yourself you certainly are a fucking retard.
User avatar
#11 - roxasftw (06/27/2016) [-]

That's why they fucking put me in there. Hell if I know why they did, but they did.

I think you guys are assuming a shit ton of things here.

I know insomnia is a real issue but I'd love to go to school and pretend to have a narcolepsy + insomnia combo
User avatar
#19 - schwoazapeda (06/27/2016) [-]
Insomnia = psychological or physiological problem
Retarded = missing/defect genes.

It's more likely that you are in special ed because your parents shared the same last name before the marriage than for insomnia.

But after reading the rest of your comments you just don't get what a real special ed class it. You were in the slow-learner class while special ed is the "shit-throwing mongrel" class.
User avatar

i think there is a third type of special class in some schools.

i ended up going to one which we just referred to as the "block class" simply because i had troubles with authority figures (this ended up costing me a military career later on in my life)

most people there were either kids with adhd, spoiled brats. or just wanna be rebels like me.
User avatar
#21 - roxasftw (06/27/2016) [-]
Them I guess I'm not in Special Ed.

I might just be "Accommodated" but I always referred to it as Special Ed.

Now that I think about it there is a Downy class not to far from one of my Math Class so shit.
#12 - sherlockbatman (06/27/2016) [-]
**sherlockbatman used "*roll picture*"**

you... you know they can't put you in there without your parent's permission, right?
they gotta sign shit, the school can't just force you into the retard class.
see, what's happening is you're actually retarded. too retarded to say anything and prove you're not retarded.
instead of leaving the special ed class, going to the normal one, and telling the teacher, "I'm not retarded, I won't go to the retard class," you continue to sit in daycare
you fucking belong there
seriously, if the school is trying to put you in that class against your will, you should just outright stop going to school at all. ditch, all day, every day. parents won't let you? how can they stop you? stop giving fucks, order some balls on Amazon, and fucking leave. let it develop into a problem. the school will notice, they lose money when you aren't there. they will fix this because they want that sweet attendance money.
or you can just live as the tard you are and stay in your appropriate class

I think you are still assuming shit.

My "Special Ed" class that I got is just an extra hour that gives me more time to do work.

Again I think you are completely misunderstanding what a "Special Ed Accommodated Class" is.

And I got forced into it by my parnets

I work in admissions & records for a college district and I'm telling you that I see the words "Special Ed Grad" on accounts with absolutely no further explanation and that shit stays on your record for every counselor to warn your teachers about.
I also used to work with autistic kids as well as the normal "at-risk" special ed class of kids with learning disabilities, english difficulties, or just a bad attitude
I'm telling you that none of the records qualify the type of special needs you have or why you're in the class outside of the immediate department and the district administration governing it. retards and dyslexics alike get labeled special with no marked difference.
other than being embarrassed to be labeled special ed, the biggest detriment to this is the absolute FACT that fucking anyone looking at that record is going to assume that you graduated easy-baby-retard versions of your classes and that your diploma is basically honorary
even if you're doing real schoolwork, colleges looking at your records are only going to see the words "special ed" when they run your application
#65 - careyious (06/28/2016) [-]
Won't like a 3.8 - 4.0 GPA with Special Ed look even more impressive than a regular joe? Just curious.
#73 - sherlockbatman (06/28/2016) [-]
**sherlockbatman used "*roll picture*"**
**sherlockbatman rolled image**
no, special ed classes can't be failed
the students get an A no matter what they turn in because they're really there to keep them safe while their parents are at work
I worked with a completely unresponsive autistic student and he had a 4.0 because it was my job to help him do his work, but since he couldn't even spell his name or hold a pencil right, I'd end up doing his work to get the teacher off my back
teachers just pass them no matter what because if they do poorly, the school has to turn them over to a better institution. schools get A LOT of funding for each special ed student, so they'll just lie to keep them there
it's not supposed to be daycare, but it's daycare
admissions boards are all privy to this and would assume a caretaker did the work to get them that GPA

But I'm already kinda' fucked and I can't really do much about that.

**sherlockbatman used "*roll picture*"**
**sherlockbatman rolled image**
if you switch back to general Ed before your senior year, you graduate without the label. it only shows up on your record if you graduate from the program
we don't actually have the permanent record of your whole history, just the very few important points, such as which educational programs you graduated out of. like some students graduate with honors and from advancement programs on top of their general high school curriculum. that stuff shows up on the record.
your attendance, individual grades, behavior (unless criminal), and detention records are not saved.
get out of that program before it's too late
