Yes, but as a recruiter if you get caught barring somebody for service from something petty / personal--like, say, a bunch of random unverified text messages--your ass can be in deep shit.

You all are clearly talking with no personal military experience.

One you're tagged as a fuckup by one recruiter, every single recruiter in the entire fucking military will know it too and your next best bet is to be a cop or go for the merchant marine. Do you know what a database is and what it does?

you do know you end up on a list, right?
they check your name, and they'll see you were denied 15 minutes ago

You have to register name and social security number in the DoD database to volunteer. If one recruiter flags his application, then it's going to show up across all branches at all stations.

Considering they are active NCOs themselves and that each military branch has its own set of morals/values (for the army integrity is a big thing) they can use their own judgement to allow/deny you. Just because you are fully eligible to join doesn't mean they have to let you join.

Recruiters talk to each other. If one in a town figured out some dude was an asshole and shouldn't be in the military all the other recruiters around would know. They don't operate in a vacuum.

Adultery is a crime in the military on the side of both spouses.
If a recruit is caught engaging in adultery he can be barred from enlistment.
They dont want people who cant even do the right thing before they join, let alone once theyre in.

Just because you are eligible legally doesn't mean a recruiter has to let you in. They can just say no.

I'm mechanical, the job I have is working at a new water treatment plant managing all the pipe coming in. Making sure we have the right types and amounts for what they are building.

I work at Best Buy, gonna be weird to leave, but congrats on getting out.
#37 - pyroniclol (08/20/2016) [-]
Thanks, it's not so much the job itself that's bad. Just retail in general, plus having shitty managers. Good luck with your Best Buy experience.
